Right now Spanish Fork is having it's Fiesta Days. There are all kinds of activities that go on for two weeks. There is a carnival, rodeo, marathon, and other activities. Today was the parade. Adam isn't big on parades so we have never gone before now. This year the Braves were invited to be in the parade since they are the division champs. Adam got a trailer and Marci made the signs. I was so excited just to be able to check out a parade!
We had to wait about an hour for the parade to reach us, but the kids didn't mind too much. Britain and Scott waiting.
Zoe, Kalixta, friend Makalya and her cousin.
Tori, happy as always!
I took tons of pictures of all the "princesses," cheer leaders, band members and cowboys. This picture is for Nik! He is in CA so he didn't get to participate. I really miss him on days like this. So Nik here is the tank I was telling you about!
Ariana loved waving at all the fire trucks with their lights and sirens going!
This one is for my Dad. There was about 10 John Deere tractors!
These jeeps are up on each others tires! It was fun to watch as you can see because the girls are sitting so still!
Here come the Braves!!!!
Kalixta loved seeing Kenny on the trailer. Kenny helped Adam coach this year. When the girls would see him on the field the would yell and call him until he waved. He was like a celebrity! The funniest was when he went out to warm up the pitcher while Nik got his catcher's gear on. Britain yells to him, "There's no batter Kenny!" At least she is paying a little attention and learning the game!
The boys are all wearing the shirts they got for being division champs. Ammon took Nik's place in the parade! He had a blast!
Adam had a lot more fun that he thought he would have.
It was lots of fun! Hopefully we will go again next year!!

Do you know who the dance group was that was doing hip hop, wearing blue and black outfits?
I don’t know who they were, sorry.
My nieces were wearing black tops, but I don’t remember their pants colors, and it was Steps dance. But there were several groups, so it could have been any.
I recommend sitting on Center Street — then you see the parade at the beginning when they’re all fresh, and you can get outta there before traffic is a nightmare. We do it every year, and it works great!
Too bad we didn’t throw candy at Adam. My family traditionally throws candy at the parade participants … but this year I was lazy. 🙂
