Running Back!!

After Nik did a good job Wednesday running the ball at his game his coach moved him to running back. He was so stoked to handle the ball. Today was his first time playing that position. He had a few great runs. He is still the kicker and punter and did a great job there. Adam took a lot of video to show Nik where he can improve so I had him pick Nik's best ones to put here. These are mostly for Grandmas, Grandpas, Uncles and Aunts that aren't able to watch his games. And anyone else who just enjoys football! Nik is 78 on the green team!

This is one of Nik's runs.

Another run. Nik is so big he is able to break tackles and drag players a few yards!

This is Nik running back the kick off! He needs to work on that speed!

Nik plays defense too. Here he is making the tackle!

Another tackle.

Last one, another tackle.

You are going to have such a fun season. Great job, Nik. I think grandpa loves those tackles the best. He loves a defensive game. You’re playing both sides of the ball. So get plenty of sleep and eat all those vegetables. Don’t forget those prayers and scriptures.

Good job Nik..Jason actually had a few minutes off from meetings and was able to come watch the highlights. He was impressed and wanted me to tell you he thought you looked good!

  1. Yeah Nik! Go Eagles!
I am so sorry to hear about your sweet dog.
Poor Ammon reading the stories about dogs. Last year I read Where the Red Fern Grows to my class. We read the part where the dogs die and one of my boys burst out crying. He didn’t tell me but his dog had died a week before we got to that part. I felt horrible!

Very impressive play, Nik! Way to be persistent and focused on those tackles. Keep up the good work! I hope that we get to see you play in-person some time!
