Zoe loves to play school with the younger girls. She loves to teach them their numbers, letter names and sounds. She even made Ariana a big book to teach her her colors.

Baseball
I love love watching my kids play ball, but Ammon's age right now is so fun. They are surprised when they catch the ball. They throw the ball to all kinds of unintended targets. They forget to run. They hold the ball while everyone yells at them to throw it.They tag players out with baseballs that are not in play. They get so excited when they get a hit. They love to slide into home plate. They are very clueless. All this makes it so fun to watch!

Nail Salon
Zoe was been on a painted nail kick. She painted her nails along with all the girls' nails for church on Sunday. After church she wanted to paint some more so she recruited Marie. Britain and Kalixta wanted to help too so Levi and Kenny "volunteered" to help. It was the cutest thing to see these two little girls painting the guys' nails. You know they had to paint bright pink and green too!

Bath Time!
Tori usually takes a shower with Adam. It is so easy and nice. When he went out of town I was forced to put her back into her baby bath to bathe her. Then I realized she was big enough to sit in the sink! She loves sitting in the sink splashing in all the water. Showers are still easier and faster, but baths in the sink are cute!

Artichokes
I remember eating a steamed artichoke when I was a teenager. I don't know why, but I remember. We had bowls of mayonnaise and melted butter that we dipped the pieces into. I liked it. When I saw artichokes on sale I wanted to give my kids a memory like that.

Last day of school
The kids' last day of school was last Friday. It has been a nice week to sleep in and not be so dictated by schedules! Ammon finished the year great with all M's (which is like straight A's) He is happy to be a second grader but not so happy to be leaving Mrs. Smith's class!

Cardinals
Ammon had his first game this week. He is playing machine pitch baseball. He did a great job. He is always watching the game and ready to be in the action. The first inning he played first base. His team fielded and threw him two balls and he made the two outs.
