I remember eating a steamed artichoke when I was a teenager. I don't know why, but I remember. We had bowls of mayonnaise and melted butter that we dipped the pieces into. I liked it. When I saw artichokes on sale I wanted to give my kids a memory like that.
Tonight we had steamed artichoke. We had bowls of mustard-mayonnaise and melted butter. I liked it. The kids liked it too. Adam even tried it and like it! I won't be having this weekly but it is definitely something we will retry every spring!
I think Ariana was just sucking the butter, but she kept eating and saying, "I like artichoke!"
Britain and Kalixta liked it the most. They almost ate a whole one themselves!

Although the pictures are nice and the idea is wonderful, I’m glad you aren’t my mom suggesting I eat one. I guess I get to embrace the kid in me. No artichoke, no beans!
Mom said she is going to have some ready for us when we are visiting in Oxnard. I am excited. And I am impressed your kids enjoyed them
