The Channel Island Raiders got their first win tonight, with a score of 17-14. It was a fun game to watch, of course.

Michael always wants to go watch Nik play! Tonight was finally his turn to go to the game! He was so excited. We packed a few treats and a blanket and left! He loved looking for Nik and when the game started he cheered when he heard names he knew (Michael Baker)!

Five minutes into the game he crawled onto my lap, cuddled up and went to sleep! I was shocked! He rarely goes to bed early and rarely on my lap! But there he was and there he stayed…the whole game! He didn’t even wake up when we left! Just slept through it all!

Ammon was working in the snack bar…he favorite thing to do since he is not the water boy this year! So I never see him. Nik’s stats are 2 passes for 8 yards. This shows how little they pass the ball since the total passing yardage was 26. He had 5 solo tackles. His stats don’t reflect all the jobs he does on the field! He rarely comes out of the games! Nik could care less about his numbers he just wants the win and doesn’t matter how they get it!

Since Michael was sleeping in my lap I didn’t get any pics which is fine since Adam films the games! So I found a few locker room photos of Nik and his team mates!

Tori is loving school, though that is no shock to me! She has wanted to go for a few years!

Michael and I walked to Von’s with Tori’s class today. It was fun to see her with her friends and have a new experience with her!

Earlier in the week they made orange tie die t-shirts for their field trip shirts! I love them!

They got to scan an item at the checkout stand!

They got to try a hot chocolate! Michael even got one!

We visited the deli and bakery where they got samples! The cookies were Tori’s favorite!

We got to go into the refrigerator where they keep the milk! And the freezer where the ice cream is! It was freezing!!

We also went where they keep the produce!

We had a awesome time visiting Von’s and meeting all of Tori’s friends!

We are so excited Halloween is coming up! All the cool stuff in the stores is so fun to look at! Michael does get scared! He is not a fan of scary and can’t decide if he likes Halloween or not!

We had fun trying on wigs and masks at the store the other day!

A blonde Kalixta?!

Saturday was picture day in addition to the games so it started early, 7:30 early! The girls were champs though and we had a great full day! I did a group photo with all the soccer playing girls so I cannot wait to see how that will turn out!

Britain did really well in the goal today! She says it is her favorite position!

She is really aggressive out on the field too! It is so great to see her speed around another girl!

The team Mom made cute hair ribbons for all the girls!

Kalixta is not super aggressive on the field but she does a great job of getting her foot on the ball.

Ari is a force out on the field! She is fun to watch speed around the bigger girls and steal the ball!

A Mom on Ari’s team also made them hair ribbons! They are so cute!

Tori had a lot of speed and fight today! I don’t know what got into her! She ran and kicked and pushed a little even! Her games are always fun to watch!!

Looking through the pictures I came across about 10 Britain selfies! All different, all funny! Crazy girl!

Adam and I drove out to Simi Valley to watch Nik play Royal High School.

CI lost again. It was a frustrating game to watch. They just don’t throw the ball enough.

Max Preps has Nik with 2 catches for 21 yards, 4 solo tackles and 2 assisted tackles. He had another interception (woo hoo) that he ran back for 24 yards that did lead to 6 points. Final score was Royal 21 CI 7.

Ariana got her glasses today! She loves loves loves them and so does everyone else!

She had a million and one questions for the lady helping her with her glasses. Including how old she was and how much she had to pay for her glasses! She asked her if she had any kids and why not! The lady loved it and thought she was a doll even when I wanted to crawl under the table!

Looking at these pictures now I need to get a side view of the hearts on the glasses Ari loves so much! The name of the glasses are Belle! She couldn’t stop looking at herself in the mirror!

Our milkweed plant has been at a friend’s house loading up with caterpillars. Adam brought it home and it had a ton!!

We check on our friends everyday! Many times a day in fact!

Michael is their biggest fan and shows them off to everyone!

Within a few days the first one crawled up the wall to make a cocoon.

A few more have joined him! In this picture there is 4…two cocooned and 2 getting ready!

It is really fascinating! We cannot wait to see our butterflies!

Each class at UPS has an animal name. Each class uses it a little different. Tori’s class name is the Puffer Fish. When Mrs. King talks to the whole class she calls them puffers. She is very creative and uses the name a lot. They made little puffer fishes to go in the window!

Tori loves her puffer face fish and couldn’t wait to show me!
