Ariana’s Photoshoot

I finally took Ariana to JCPenney's to get her photos taken. I tried one other time and I didn't like any of the photos that they took. Ariana was at a weird picture taking age. This time she followed directions so well and did a great job. I still didn't get the big beautiful smile that I love, but I am happy with the pictures. Here's a few.

I hate pictures with me in them. This is really true when I am pregnant. I took these pictures knowing I wouldn't like them, but I wanted to see how they would turn out. I liked the ones where you can't see my fat face!

Ammon’s 7th Birthday

Today is Ammon's 7th birthday. So far he has had a great (he says)! He took treats to school and was a little bummed when they "ran out of time" to give them to his friends! Good thing Monday will be here soon! He loved his cake! It was red inside with blue frosting for what else but Spider-man!

He got lots of candies, chips and gum! All which will probably be gone by tonight, but at least he enjoyed them!
IMG_3767
He got lots of Spider-man stuff, another staple for his presents!

Adam and I gave him a new scooter. He has been using Zoe's scooter, which is pink Barbie, because it is fast. Hopefully this one is fast too.

This morning I asked him how it felt to be 7. He responded, "Great cause I am almost 8!!" Gotta love that! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMMON! Thanks to everyone who called and sent presents! He loved it all!

School Fun

Britain and Kalixta are having a great time at school. They love every minute of going and have learned lots of things already! Tuesday they went to school at the same time (and love it!) and met Smokey the Bear! They had been looking forward to meeting him for a week and they were not disappointed! They learned all about fire safety. Britain now wants to be a fireman so she can help Smokey the Bear. This is a video the song they learned at school!

They also learned about fall this week and the letter Dd. They are so proud of their Autumn hats and their ducks that swim!

ENT

ENT stands for Ear, Nose and Throat Specialist. This is who Ammon went to see yesterday. Ammon gets nose bleeds all the time. He gets at least one a week. This weekend was really bad. He got two on Sunday, then woke up during the night with one and then had two Monday. Tuesday at the doctor's office he had the blood vessels in his nose chemically cauterized. Basically the doctor used a chemical (silver nitrate) to burn the blood vessels in his nose so they will stop bleeding. It actually sounds a lot worse than it was. He had very little pain. Hopefully this will mean no more nose bleeds!

Nikolas has also been seeing this doctor. Nikolas always breaths through is mouth because his nose feels stuffed. After trying a few things the doctor decided his tonsils, adenoids and one other thing (I forgot the name) need to be removed! He will be having surgery next month. SHHHH Don't tell him he doesn't know yet! He will be a little happy since he will get to miss school.

Happy Birthday Dad!

Today is Adam's Dad's birthday! I wanted to wish him a great big HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

We love you!!

Ketchup Man

…. and Mustard Boy??!!

For football practices and games Nik would fill up water bottles half way and freeze them so he would have cold water at practice. A few weeks into the season he found a ketchup bottle and used that as a water bottle. He loved the fact that he could squirt the water into his month. He took that ketchup bottle to two practices and a game. He said the guys on his team called him ketchup man.  Then set in his suspension because of his grades. He missed a week of games and practices. His first game back I saw three or four boys with different types ketchup, mustard, or relish bottles. He one friend decided to name himself mustard boy. So here is Ketchup Man and Mustard Boy!

The End of Soccer Season

Soccer season has been a crazy blast! It's been busy, hectic and tons of fun. I am going to miss watching the kids play, but it will be very nice to have our afternoons back. Just in time too because it is starting to get a little chilly in the evenings!

Here are a few fun pictures of Zoe's season!

Grapes, Grapes, Grapes!

Kalixta, Ariana and I went and picked a bunch of grapes Monday while Britain was in school. Today I finally got it together and made grape juice. The grapes were green and so the juice is a peach color, go figure! But we have had lots of fun!

So far I have 12 quarts with another batch to do tomorrow!

Baby News

I had an ultrasound today. Everything looks great! The baby was sticking out his/her tongue. It was very cute. The ultrasound tech could see some hair! Everything is in the works so I will be induce on the 20th of Oct. I think Britain is the most excited. She know that the baby comes in four Sundays.

Kalixta, Britain, and Ariana went to the appointment with me. Britain watched the whole ultrasound. She would giggle and gasp when I pointed body parts out to her and was disappointed when the screen went blank! When the ultrasound tech played the heart beat Britain got so excited! She asked the tech to play the baby's voice again."I love to hear the baby's voice!" she told the tech. She loved the whole experience. Kalixta stopped playing to take notice of the heart and asked if that is what hers looked like inside. Ariana was clueless of course. She just asked the tech to look at her baby too! It was a fun experience to share with them.I can't wait to see them in the hospital with their new sibling and then the many days after!

My View!

This is my view across the street from my front lawn!

IMG_3616
See the white trailer? That is Kenny and Marci's new house!!! No not the trailer. The house it is parked in front of! Yep they bought a house! They finally got the keys yesterday and moved in late last night! The best thing is the live across the street! I am so ecstatic! I kids are just as thrilled as I am. They will be in the same stake, but a different ward! Now we just need to cut down some bushes and start our own code using flags, flashlights, colored cards in the windows, or something!

Welcome to the neighborhood guys!!
