Today is my Mom’s birthday so my blog today is a tribute to her. My Mom is awesome. She is a great listener. She almost only gives advice when I ask for it. She is beautiful. She is loving. She is a great mother. She is a fabulous example. She is a wonderful friend. She is patient. She is hardworking She is a fun Grandma. She is thoughtful. She is compassionate. She is ALWAYS thinking of others. She is cheap (and this is a major compliment). She is always there for me. She raised seven great kids (if I don’t say so myself). She is faithful. I could go on and on. My Mom is my hero. When I grow up I want to be just like her (hehe). I love you Mom.

Melissa, I thought one of your kids was posting this about you for a second there. You are more like your mom than you know. She is an amazing woman and everything you said was true. Your mom and dad were our Youth Conference “Parents” when Charlie and I first met. So in a round about way, she’s always been “mom”. Happy Birthday Sister Beck!
