I remember when life wasn't so scheduled and hectic. I was busy with things, but now life just doesn't stop. I have to go here and here and here! Which is okay. I like to be busy. This was my schedule today.
6:45 Wake up and then get all the kids up
7:00 Breakfast for the kids
7:30 Morning devotional
7:50 Take Nik, Zoe and Ammon to school
8:15 Adam and I eat breakfast
9:00 Take Kalixta to school
11:00 Pick up Kalixta from school
12:00 Lunch
2:30 Leave to pick up Nik, Zoe, and Ammon from school
3:10 Get home with kids; start homework
4:00 Dinner (this is early, usually we eat at 5:00)
4:30 Take Zoe to soccer game
5:00 Take Nik to football practice
5:00 Zoe's game
5:40 Take Ammon to soccer pictures
6:15 Ammon's game
6:20 Pick up Zoe from soccer pictures
6:30 Pick up Nik from football. Take him home to babysit girls so Adam can go to Young Men
7:00 Pick up Ammon from game
7:20 Get home; finish homework; get kids ready for bed
8:00 Bedtime for kids; continue helping Nik finish homework
8:30 Nik finally in bed
In between all that I did Zoe, Britain, and Kalixta's laundry, helped them clean their room, cleaned two bathrooms and all the other normal cleaning that comes from meals. I did even take a short nap! Yippee! I am not complaining. Since this serves as a journal for me I want to remember how life was. I love that the kids are playing sports. I think that it is an important activity in their lives. I am enjoying this phase in life. After all this is what I've always wanted! (I have to remind myself of that often!!:)
