Wells Fargo Player of the Game

Jasongame138-0! That was the final score if you don’t already know. BYU beat Utah St. pretty bad on Saturday thanks to the Wells Fargo Player of the Game- Jason Beck. Yes, you heard right… Jason was named the player of the game and rightly so. If they had not taken such a commanding lead in the first half, I think his stats would have been a lot higher. They were actually pretty incredible as it is.

Look here:

20 for 28 in pass attempts (71.4 % completion percentage)
305 yards passing
1 TD
All this led to a 167.57 pass efficiency rating.

So we are all proud of Jay. He did well and now he’ll be back to his old role as backup QB. At least now the world knows how much talent he has. And if he is called on again, no one will be complaining.
