I am so lucky! I have a art teacher as a sister in law! Michelle had the great idea to make paper mache eggs. The kids all had a BLAST. I think everyone had a BLAST!! This will definitely be a new tradition around here!! I got so many fun pictures I will have to divide them into days!

 

Today was a good day! 

Ariana has an amazing imagination! She entertains herself really well. Her favorite game is "friend." She plays "friend" with anything. Carrot sticks, silver ware, french fries, toys really anything. The friends talk to each other. They fight. They play. They bother each other. She loves when some one plays with her. It is so fun to watch and listen to her little made up conversations. If any of my kids end up having an imaginary friend it will be her. 

She also loves to pretend she is other people by putting on their shoes or hat, whatever. For example, she will put Michelle's shoes on and tell everyone she is Michelle and act like Michelle. Then she will kick the shoes off and be Ariana again! She started being Tori lately by sitting in her high chair and and crying and asking for milk. It makes me laugh to see how she imitates Tori.

Yesterday I was downstairs. I could hear Ariana playing upstairs. This is what I saw.

Her Care Bear was in the high chair being Tori and it was green day. Ariana was the Mommy and was making food for Tori. She then started lining up all her toys for green day. Here she is putting a hat on her friend. They were having a parade. Where she saw that I don't know

I love her imagination. She cracks me up everyday!

Today is the first day of spring and it feels like it here. This whole week has been beautiful. Everybody is in short sleeves and flip flops! It is great. The best part in the kids play outside ALL day long! 

Hide-and -seek!

I lost my can opener. I miss my can opener! I had Pampered Chef's awesome can opener. It was a smooth-edge can opener.

 It works different than a normal can opener. You cut the can from the top. There are no sharp edged. I loved my can opener. Quick story. When I had Ariana my Mom came to stay with the kids and help out. We had only been in Utah and our new house a month. She settled my kitchen, unpacked boxes and took care of all the kids. She also had to feed our dog Charlie. In order to do that she had to open a can of dog food. My poor mom couldn't figure out how to work the can opener so she took the can to the neighbors and asked for help! We laughed about the story when she was here and I had Tori. 

Well, back to the missing can opener. I think it might have accidentally been thrown in the trash. I can't send Nik to Marci's house everyday to borrow her can opener so today I finally bought a cheap one in hopes of finding mine someday. Nik had to open a can today and couldn't figure out how to use it. He was putting it on the top when it needed to go on the side. I told him Mom's story and we had a good laugh! 

Everybody here had a great day. We all loved dressing in green and looking for the leprechaun. He found Britain and Kalixta at school and left them each a pot of gold.
