Swim Party

One of the boys on Adam's baseball team has a pool. His mom invited the whole team and their family members over for a swim party and bbq!! The kids all had so much fun! I was afraid they would be chickens in the water with a bunch of big boys splashing. Boy was I wrong!!!  Life jackets and goggles go a long way to boost confidence!

Tori had a blast swimming around with Marci and splashing herself!
IMG_0003

Britain was very brave and took off her life jacket. She then used the goggles to help her hold her breath, go under the water and blow all her bubbles out!
IMG_0006

Ammon diving into the pool! He loved jumping off the board and going down the slide!
IMG_0013

Zoe discovered how fun the slide was but couldn't be convinced to go off the diving board!
IMG_0016

Ariana had fun in the water and didn't want to get out! It helped that the water was very warm! Here is her friend Joshua! Those two are cute together!

Hey Dad!

This post is for my Dad! No, it's not his birthday or anything special. It's just to tell him I have been thinking about him. My Dad is a farmer! And he likes his John Deere's! When ever I see a John Deere tractor I think of my Dad. When we were at the parade yesterday and saw all the John Deere Tractors I couldn't help but think of Dad and take lots of pictures for him.

Check out this boy driving!! He is like Nik's age!

So I know this isn't a John Deere, but it's pink and I kinda like it!!!

Spanish Fork’s Parade

Right now Spanish Fork is having it's Fiesta Days. There are all kinds of activities that go on for two weeks. There is a carnival, rodeo, marathon, and other activities. Today was the parade. Adam isn't big on parades so we have never gone before now. This year the Braves were invited to be in the parade since they are the division champs. Adam got a trailer and Marci made the signs. I was so excited just to be able to check out a parade!

We had to wait about an hour for the parade to reach us, but the kids didn't mind too much. Britain and Scott waiting.

Tori, happy as always!
IMG_9913
I took tons of pictures of all the "princesses," cheer leaders, band members and cowboys. This picture is for Nik! He is in CA so he didn't get to participate. I really miss him on days like this. So Nik here is the tank I was telling you about!
IMG_9920
Ariana loved waving at all the fire trucks with their lights and sirens going!
IMG_9925
This one is for my Dad. There was about 10 John Deere tractors!
IMG_9928
These jeeps are up on each others tires! It was fun to watch as you can see because the girls are sitting so still!
IMG_9950
Here come the Braves!!!!
IMG_9952
Kalixta loved seeing Kenny on the trailer. Kenny helped Adam coach this year. When the girls would see him on the field the would yell and call him until he waved. He was like a celebrity! The funniest was when he went out to warm up the pitcher while Nik got his catcher's gear on. Britain yells to him, "There's no batter Kenny!" At least she is paying a little attention and learning the game!
IMG_9953
The boys are all wearing the shirts they got for being division champs. Ammon took Nik's place in the parade! He had a blast!
IMG_9957
Adam had a lot more fun that he thought he would have.
IMG_9955
It was lots of fun! Hopefully we will go again next year!!

Fiesta 2009

We had so much fun at the Fiesta! We went on tons of rides, hung out with lots of friends and family and ate some good food!!

I was surprised at all the rides the kids wanted to try! I have a few dare devils!! Zoe was one of them. She went on all the crazy rides this year with her cousin Cami! This is one of those spinning throw up rides! Click here to see more pictures!

We’re Back

We are back from our fantastic trip to CA!! We did so much and had so much fun. It is good to be home though!

The kids and I spent Friday at the pool while Adam helped his parents set up for the fiesta! It was the perfect day to spend in the water!

Britain loves to sit in her floaty and cruise around the edge of the pool!

The End

I know, I know you are probably tired of all the baseball posts! But this will be the last one this season! It's true, Nik's team lost last night. They won their first game, but couldn't pull it off the second time! They are now out of the state tournament. The other team was a good team so everyone was okay with the loss. We are kinda glad to be done. Now we can move on to other things…. like going to California! We are taking off today. California here we come!!!

I stole this picture from Marci's blog. This is the whole team patting Nik on the head after his home run!

It has been a great season. Our team is full of good players and more importantly good boys!

Double Header

Yesterday Nik played a double header in the State Tournament and WON both games!!! The first game was a great one! We lead the whole game. Nik pitched well and walked both times at the plate!

IMG_9593
He also played catcher and did a good job!
IMG_8613
The second game I missed because of this!
IMG_9638
Can you tell how swollen my left ankle is! I sprained it going down the stairs with a basket full of clean laundry. Plus Britain and Kalixta threw up! I was disappointed I had to miss his game and was antsy the whole time they were gone wondering who won.

It was a tough game, but like I said they won 14-7. And the best part? Nik hit a home run!! Yes, an over the fence home run on his first ups. Second ups he hit the fence, one foot higher and it would have been over again. Then his third ups he hit a double. I missed is all! Bummer! They won though so that is great. Today is another double header so maybe I will make it to a game and he will hit another one for me!!

Here he is with his home run ball!!!

Pool Fun

We have had so much fun in Ariana's new pool. She is great to share with everyone. We have spent a good portion of everyday out there enjoying the HOT sun and the cool water!

Friends

Ariana is great friends with Jane. Every time we see her Ari gets so excited! They love to play together. When Jane came over for the 4th of July it was so cute to see them play together. They did lots of silly things but the cutest was watching them play "friends." They would play this with anything.

Here they are playing it with their water balloons!

Here they are playing it with their ice cream cones!
