I took the side of Tori's bed off  at Adam's insistence! She is now sleeping in a big girl bed! She is doing okay. She loves to wake up and come out of her room by herself!

She is just less than a month away from her second birthday! That thought leaves me speechless. I hate that she is growing so fast!

Tori has decided to be afraid of the vacuum. She doesn't even like it when it is not on! Usually I try to vacuum when Ariana is around because she will comfort Tori. Last week I vacuumed when Ariana was gone. As soon as the vacuum turned on she ran and hide. It was kinda funny so I had to get a picture!

When she saw me she gave me a quick smile and then hide. 

Britain lost her first tooth today. She lost it at school, of course! All of my kids have to loose at least one at school!

This tooth has been loose for about a month so she was glad to finally have it out!

All their lives Britain has done everything before Kalixta so it didn't surprise me at all the Britt lost her tooth first. I love that Kalixta never cares. She is truly a great older sister!

Britain and Kalixta have their first class projects due tomorrow! I was actually on the ball and they finished them yesterday since I knew I didn't have time today. They had to make a diorama to go along with the Ice Age. Britain decided she wanted to art from the Ice Age. Kalixta wanted to do clothing but changed to art when she saw Britain. They did everything by themselves! 

They drew all the pictures and even typed up the words so I could edit and fix the sizes!

They won't win any awards but it is their work! It was fun to listen to them talk about what they learned. They would feed off of each other's comments. Remember this and remember that. I didn't hear much of that last year! It is a fun twin perk I guess.

Today is the first day of Fallll!! I am a little excited for fall to come! I love the cooler temps and the changing colors! I love the falling leaves. I love throwing those leaves at certain kids! I love that Halloween is around the corner and before that comes Ammon, Adam and Tori's birthdays! I love that it is too chilly for  mosquitoes to hang around the sports park, where everyone plays their games! I love that all the flies are soon going to die and bug me no more!!! I love wearing my jacket!!

I especially love my view!! I see this out my window as I am doing dishes. I can see this out my window in the living room. I see this view when I am coming home from taking the kids to school as the sun lights it up. I love it! 

It makes me smile! It makes me happy!

It makes me thankful for a loving Father in Heaven who wants me to have joy and provided so many ways for me to have it!

We went to the splash pad again Friday. It was the perfect day so there were a lot of people there. That did not stop the kids from having a blast! 

I tried a new angle for my pictures. I tried taking them from the ground. This is the only one I liked but it is pretty cool. I love Tori's little ruffle butt watching the action but not brave enough to go in. Ammon's awesome leap through the spout is pretty cool too! Ariana standing and watching with awe is so her!

Zoe discovered the hair flip! She thought she was so smart I didn't have the heart to tell her that women have been doing that for years! In a splash pad might be new though:)!

Ariana's face cracks me up! I see this expression often, so glad I got in on film!

Britain and Kalixta had to try too. Kalixta was a little embarrassed so only did it twice. Britain loved it and did it again and again all over the park!

I am loving having these two sweet girls all to myself all day long! They play so well together, most of the time! It is so funny to listen to Ariana tell Tori what to say or how to do something or how to play a game. Tori is so teachable. Ariana is very patient and gentle with Tori. She gets so excited when Tori does something new and has to rush to tell me! 

If Tori gets anything she always puts her other hand out and says, "Ana! Ana!" wanting one for Ariana too. I love how they look out for and protect each other! I could just freeze the two of them and keep them this age forever!!

Tori is afraid of the vacuum, she says it is "scary!" I told her I was going to start it and she ran to the other end of the house to hide. Ariana ran after her and stayed with her and held her while I vacuumed! It was the sweetest thing! I can not imagine my life without these two loving sweeties! 

Next to the new splash pad is a new park. It is just as cool as the splash pad and the kids have a hard time deciding which one to go to. We decided that as long as it was warm we would go to the splash pad and then when it gets cold we will go to the park. Last Friday we tried to go to the splash pad but there was a chilly wind so the kids only lasted an hour in the water. We figured it was a park day.

There are lots of swings but only four of them look like this one! They kids could stay there forever! I have to limit them because everyone wants to swing on them!

The climbing wall is pretty crazy too! It doesn't stop Ammon though! He was all over it!

So many things to do!

We will be back again and again!

I taught Ariana's preschool again today! It was a lot of fun. Those little girls are dolls and are so full of energy! We learned the letter D so I made them play dough. They had to make snakes and form the letter Dd. It was kinda hard but all the girls got it. I will only post pictures of Ariana for obvious reasons but the other girls look just as cute with their D's.

Next I got out cookie cutters that had things that started with D like dog, dinosaurs, and ducks! Here is Ariana with her dog!

Adam had Tori most of the time but she was there to play play dough with us!

She loves being a big girl!

We read books, sang songs, danced, colored and wrote the letter D. We also learned about dogs so we made a dog puppet! It turned out so cute!

Tori got my example because she wanted one too!

I loved doing preschool and can't wait for my turn again in five weeks! We will be doing the letter Hh and hippos!!! 

Adam plays softball on Wednesday nights. He plays with some friends from church! He has a great time! He plays second or third base. He has made a number of good plays this season. Today he had a great catch and was in on a double play!

He has been hitting pretty good too!
 

I love to watch him play!

The kids spend the time running around and playing with their friends that are sometimes there! Tori loves to play in the dirt! The little stinker gets it out of the planter and brings it to the bleachers!
