Santa

I took the kids to the mall this week to see Santa. It is the first time in years I have had to go to the mall to see him. The kids loved all the decorations around him. Ariana talked and talked and told him her whole list! She never once looked at him. She just played with the fur!

034

Kalixta only has two things are her list this year!

036

Tori wasn't scared but she didn't want to go visit him either. She only went when she saw him give Kalixta a candy cane!
038

Britain just posed and took her candy cane! I thought that was kinda funny!
039

And Ammon. He talked so soft Santa had to bend down to listen!

Walk to Bethlehem

Our ward and neighborhood put on a live nativity, they called it a Walk to Bethlehem! We walked down the street in a beautiful light snow with our neighbors. It was a beautiful sight. The live actors did an amazing job. It was perfect!

The kids were wet and cold when we got home, but there was no complaining! They felt the spirit of the night!

015

It was an amazing night that helped remind all of us of the true meaning of Christmas! I am thankful for my Savior and this time of year to remember Him and celebrate His birth!!! Merry Christmas!!!

Zoë, Zoë, Zoë

Zoë had a busy week last week. First she participated in a wax museum. She read a book about Helen Keller and then did a report on it. Then at the wax museum she had to dress up like her. She had a short bio memorized and when someone pressed her button she did it for them. She did a great job!!

She was a little nervous with the camera on her but she was awesome!

That night Zoë had her winter choir concert! Her music teacher is a wonderful, fun lady! It was a great night!

This is my favorite picture from this weekend!

012

It was a busy weekend with lots of running around. I snapped this shot on the way to a baptism Saturday morning! Nik had taken his book to keep him occupied while in the car. Tori snatched it from him and didn't want to return it! She read it and read it the whole way there!! Love my little reader!!

Decorating the Tree

We decorated the Christmas Tree Saturday night!

016
With the Christmas music playing the boys got all the lights on our tree!

017

Each year starting with the oldest we put the first ornaments on the tree. The first ones are ones my Grandparents have given us. Each of these special ornaments have our names on them.

As soon as it was Tori's turn she grabbed her ornament and posed! Can you see her little leg turned in?!

Then she posed like this!

025

She finally got  it on the tree!

026

I love watching the kids get so excited to see all the special ornaments from past Christmases.

Christmas Tree O Christmas Tree

We ventured out last week to a local lot and found our Christmas Tree. I love letting the kids look around to find the perfect tree! Ammon found the one he wanted but it would NOT fit in our house!

002

Ariana found one too but hers was a little too small!

007

She also found one already decorated with pine cones that she thought was pretty cool!

005

Tori found all kinds she liked!

004

The lady who owes the lot that we were at was very sweet and gave each of the kids a Christmas tree of their very owe. Each tree is in their room and making my house smell like Christmas everywhere!

Mile Stone

Nik is growing and maturing like crazy! It is an amazing thing to watch. He reach a big milestone in his life and I am going to embarrass the heck out of him by putting it on my blog!! On Sunday Nik SHAVED for the first time!!! Crazy, right!!! He has had peach fuzz for the last year. He finally started asking if he could shave so Adam took him out and bought him a razor!!

057

Here is the before.

058

And After.

060

So handsome, right?! Love my boy!! When I asked him how it went he said, "shaving cream is a lot harder than I thought!" Adam said he ate more than got on his face!

Good Times!

It was so fun having my two brothers here from CA! Jeff lived with us for a while so the kids are super close to him! It is hard to have him so far away! That is why we love when he visits! He stayed with us so we got to see him all the time! One night I was in the kitchen and he calls me to show me what a great life he has. Here he is in a massage chair, getting a foot massage, surrounded by beautiful girls and hanging with Nik!  What the life!

001

We love love love when Jeff is here!

004

Joey and Sujin also came up for the weekend! It has been a while since they were here so it was lots of fun hanging with them! They spent Sunday morning with us. Sweet Sujin french braided all the girls hair! They loved having their hair braided and loved loved having it all wavy at school on Monday! Thanks Sujin! We loved having them here too!

061

We love you guys!! Thanks for visiting!!
