Hope Of America

Zoe is in the choir at school. She had the chance to preform in the Hope Of America in the Marriott Center at BYU!

Lots of schools where there! Each student wore a red, white, blue or yellow shirts to make the flag. I loved how it looked!

At times Tori thought the singing was a little loud!! But it really was great!

Here is Zoe when I finally found her!! It took me almost the show!! She saw me at the very beginning, but I didn’t find her until the end!

This was her favorite song!!

I am so proud of my Zoe!! She did a great job. It was an amazing night!!

Still Here!!

Yes I am still here! We moved and so the blog went on hold!! There is lots going on in life too! May always feels like the busiest month of the year with all the end of the school year programs and activities. Then add in two boys and Adam playing ball. Plus the fact that I am 35 weeks pregnant, (yes, crazy right?!) and feel like a hippo! All that makes for pure craziness. The perfect kind of craziness I love!

So much has happened since I last blogged! It is hard to decide what to start with. So I will start with Britain!

Britain lost her third tooth yesterday!! Her top tooth came out with a little help from a dear friend, Bro. J! Doesn’t she look so cute with that tooth missing!!

I just love this girl!

Easter Party Part 3 Sunday Morning!

Okay Okay, last Easter post, I promise! Easter morning was a little funny. The kids were up at seven!! After everything that went on Saturday that was way to early for me!! So, being the nice Mom that I am, I went downstairs, took pictures of all the kids with their baskets and then went back to bed! I told them they could eat whatever they wanted!! I know, what was I thinking?!

So here are all the cute morning pics!! Before the sugar high started!

Nik got the bandannas that he really wanted!

Zoe loved her peace sucker!

Poor little Tori was still sick! She was about as excited as she could be about her candy. Too bad you can’t tell at all! She is really smiling!

Easter was wonderful and our weekend was amazing. BUT I can’t forget the real reason for all the celebrating! I am so very grateful for my Savior and the sacrifices he made for me! I know that if I were the only one to come to this earth and sin he would have still went through all that he did for ME! I am eternally grateful for that and for the fact that I have this knowledge and my testimony of it!

Easter Party Part 2 Confetti Eggs

Confetti eggs are so much fun! A favorite every year. I started saving in good time this year and had over 40 dozen eggs!

We introduced our tradition to some friends this years and I think they liked it! Here is the before!

And of course the afters!!

Zoe and her friend trying to get a little clean!!

Tori did not have any fun!!! Even watching the video today makes her hold me and say, “I don’t like that!” I think most of it was because she wasn’t feeling well!!

Our amazing neighbors! We love these guys!!

Another great family that we love!

The Platts!

And the Becks!

Ariana with one of her BFF’s. I love how cute they are together going through their candy!!

Here is the craziness in progress! Be sure to turn the volume down and have a good laugh!

Enjoy Leslie!!! 🙂

Easter Party Part 1

If you are a frequent reader of my blog you know I love holidays! If you have been a reader of my blog for over a year you know we do Easter BIG here. I need at least four posts to tell about it! One is already done, when we colored eggs! Now onto the party! We do our crazy celebration on Saturday.

We spent the morning having a yard sale. It was supposed to rain and snow so I was a little worried! The morning stayed rain free although it was really cold at times! It finally started to get a little warm when the rain started! We had to move our party indoors!

Every year Adam’s makes carne asada! It is my FAVORITE ever!!! After a delicious dinner it cleared up so we headed over to the park. We did the clean part first! We had our Easter egg hunt first! Nothing like candy in eggs to get all the kids excited!!

The little ones started first!

Tori was sick sick sick! She had a nasty cough, boggers everywhere and a slight fever! BUT that didn’t stop her from enjoying the egg hunt! Auntie Marie helped her find lots of eggs!

When I asked her to show me her eggs this was her pose!! Love the hand on the hips!!

Ariana had a great time finding eggs! Nik helped her reach the high ones!

He probably got this one for payment!

Ammon all egged out!

Britain having a blast and finding lots of eggs!

Kalixta found so many eggs!

Zoe was too old to carry a basket, but not too old to find a ton of eggs!

My adorable nephew was there looking for eggs too! He loved the ones he found!

KP and his Daddy!

Happy Happy Easter!! Hope yours was a blast too!

Dying Eggs

Dying eggs in our house is no easy feat! This year is no exception! We have over 40 dozen empty eggs that I have been saving for the last few months waiting to be colored, filled with confetti and flour and cracked on someone’s head!

We have so much fun dying them!!

The Gang!

The thumbs up was totally an accident caught on film but I love it!

Zoe was my busy little helper making sure all the eggs got replenished and taking care of! But I can’t believe I didn’t get a picture on her!!

The eggs!! Can’t wait for Saturday!!

Another Blessed Mommy Moment

These two cute Mommy Moments happened this weekend. I need to remember these memories because tonight has not been a good night! That is why I love Mommy Moments, they help me get through the not so good ones!

Kalixta drew a little picture of our family and then made our bed and put it there!

The drawing had all the members of our family! Charlie is flying in the sky because he is in heaven! Maisey is halfway between our family and the sky because she is alive but not with us! I love how she just put the first letters of the names, but spelled mine out! And did you notice the TWO extra kids at the end T and M? They are both for the baby whether it is a girl, T, or a boy, M! The hair she draws on people always makes me smile!! Kalixta is such a sweet heart!

Britain left a note on our bed that she made last week too! Here is her sweet note!

Can you read her sounded out spellings?!?! Love them!! And love my sweet  Britain!

Blessed Mommy

I am truly a blessed Mom! That doesn’t mean my kids are perfect by any means. But they do love me, despite my imperfections and my screw ups.

Last Sunday I hit snooze a few too many times and woke up a little later than I would have liked. I come down the stairs and there is my sweet Zoe reading books to all the girls!

She read them at least 5 books and they all just sat there listening!! I love my girls!! (I love my boys too, they were just still sleeping!)

Spring Break Day 5

We were so busy today Tori didn’t even make it to her bed before she crashed!

The kids played with friends, blew more bubbles, played with play doh again, rode bikes and scooters and ran wild and free with the occasional call to come and help me! They had a great time while I continued to clean and organize, though you can’t really tell if you look at my house!

We ended the day with a special treat of brownies with ice cream made by a special boy! Ammon made brownies all by himself tonight for the first time. Boy, was he proud of himself!

You can tell by all the chocolate on his shirt that he did a great job!! He even cleaned up his mess!!

Spring Break Day 4

Today we had lots of fun. It wasn’t as nice as I would like it to be on spring break. It rained last night and though the sun was out it was windy and a tad chilly, but that didn’t stop anyone from going outside.

I found some bubbles to entertain the kids. I forget how FUN bubbles are!!

Nik thought the bubbles were delicious! Crazy boy!!

Ariana loves loves loves blowing bubbles!

Zoe was so cute, she would line all the kids up to see how many bubbles they could make together!

They love catching them too!

And popping them is just as fun as blowing them!

No one can forget Tori! She was so funny to watch. Sometimes she would blow a lot and other times she completely missed!

She would get so so excited to see her bubbles blowing in the wind!

She got a little mad when I used her bubbles. I love the hands on the hip scold!
