We had a great three day weekend! We spent lots of time with family and friends. We went to a friends house and had lunch and played in the pool. Kalixta left her soda out and after she played in the pool she went to get a drink! Well, there was a bee IN the can and when she took a drink it flew out and stung her on the lip!! She was in the side yard. Tori was screaming and crying so Jeff went running to see what was wrong! He found Kalixta crying and stung by a bee and Tori screaming because she was scared of the bee! Poor girls!

I gave her Benadryl and by the time we got home it was just a little puffy! It is feeling better but she will be afraid of bees for a while!

For the most part I let the girls decide how long or short they want their hair! Sometimes I can steer them in the direction I want them to go with their hair, but the older they get the more the want and can decide what they want!

I like all the girls to have long hair except Ariana. Her hair is beautiful long but gets tangled so easy! When she started to say she wanted short hair I was all for it!! It took us a few weeks to get done but on Sunday Kylie cut her hair!

Before we get too much father from summer I have to blog and remember The Fiesta!! Every year we go to the Fiesta at Adam’s Dad and Mom’s church!! They spoil the kids (and us) with lots of ride tickets and yummy food! There is always lots of pizza from the Pizza Lady! This year Adam’s parents ran the ice cream booth so their was LOTS of ice cream for everyone!!

All the kids loved the spinning tea cups!This was Tori favorite favorite ride!!Spinning bears are another favorite!Tori is such a dare devil! She wanted to go on this ride and love the speed!Britain and Kalixta were tall enough to go on this ride for the first time!! They loved it!My cute girls!! Zoe was a huge help this year!Another ride Kalixta and Britain were able to go on for the first time!! They love being tall enough to ride the “big kid” rides!Ariana was also able to ride some rides, like Twister, that she hasn’t been able to before!

Tori HATED being left out!! She thought she should be able to ride all the rides she wanted! Here is my mad girl waiting for the big kids!The slide was fun as always!Ariana’s favorite ride was the cars. She loved riding them with her cousin Rhea!The Ferris Wheel is a favorite of mine! I didn’t get to go on it this year, but all the kids enjoyed it!Ariana didn’t want to go up that high so she didn’t go on it! Tori wanted to go but had to go with an adult so since I didn’t go she didn’t get to! That meant one more trip to the helicopter for her!

My Aunt Carol and her daughters Nola and Xoche came to a visit! It has been years since we have seen them! They are doing great! We were able to hang out one evening at my Grandma’s house!

It was so good to see you guys!!

We went to the Gull Wing’s Children’s Museum this summer in CA. Gull Wings has lots of hands on exhibits for the kids to play with and check out!

They got to play doctor and patient with x-rays, and a skeleton, a ambulance and body parts!

They were astronauts and traveled to the moon in a space ship!

And walk on the moon!

They were fire fighters!

They dug for bones.

They drove a boat!

They touched and held sea animals!

They even got to rock climb!

Michael slept the whole time with Marie!

We had a a blast!

Sorry I didn’t post last week! I was busy with school. This is about my first day and week of school!

The first day of school was fun. So were the other days of school. We started school last week! My friend’s names are Genevieve and David and that’s it. My school’s name is UPS. My teachers name is Mrs. Johnston. I like my teacher. She is very nice. I have cool recesses too. I like to play basketball and handball at recess. I like p.e. We play fun games. I like to go to Science too and that’s it!

My brother and his wife welcomed a gorgeous little girl to their family early Saturday morning!

Little Miss Peyton is so adorable! Jaime went through a lot of bring this sweetie to our family. Jaime you are amazing!!

I love all the dark hair she has! She looks a little like Michael to me, which is proof that Michael looks like Nik (Beck) and Peyton looks like her Daddy, a Beck!

She was 6 pounds 9 ounces and 20 1/2 inches of perfection and we are so grateful she is here! Unfortunately she is having to spend some time in the NICU, but I know she will be feeling better real soon!! I am going crazy because she is in Utah and I am not!! SO not fair!!! I can’t wait to meet you Peyton, but I love you tons already!! Congrats Jason and Jaime!!!

Michael is growing bigger and bigger everyday despite the fact I keep telling him to stop! He is a good baby as long as he is held and has a pacifier! He loves loves his pacifier and I never leave the house without it! He is smiling now though I have failed to get a got one with my camera! Coming soon!

The kids all had their first day of school today. New school and new friends meant lots of fears and worries! But the day was great. Everyone survived and made friends! They all love their teachers! They are all excited to go back tomorrow!

Ariana skipped and jumped all the way to class! She walked in the door and waved good-bye! She didn’t need her Mom at all!

Britain started the second grade! She was very excited to go to school and had a great great day! She loves her teacher!

Kalixta started the second grade. She was very nervous and cried a little. She had a great day and made lots of friends! She had a little mix up at lunch and cried but solve it quickly and had a good lunch!

Ammon had a HARD time going to class for the first time as a 4th grader! He met some new friends and actually had a good time today!!!

Zoe started 6th grade and is in  junior high! She was nervous about everything from being late to class to having to dress out in p.e. She did great though! She found some old friends and made new ones and is looking forward to the rest of the year!

Last but not least Nik started 8th grade! He had a great day. He loves meeting new people.

All my school kids! SO hard to believe they are growing so fast!
