We had a super fun St. Patrick’s Day! The kids woke up and had rainbow pancakes!

Tori thought the pancakes were amazing!!

We were supposed to have opening ceremonies for the boys’ baseball but it rain and all that got canceled! The kids were a little bummed and a little bored since they couldn’t go outside and play!

We made the best of it and had a green lunch!!

We HAD to make a leprechaun trap! We have done that the last couple years and that sneaky leprechaun always gets away! Kalixta read a book about how to catch leprechaun so she helped her Daddy make the trap! We had to make it inside because of the rain!

Kalixta found gold necklaces to trick the leprachaun! She also drew the leprachaun pictures and made him a few bookmarks!!

Daddy borrowed Ariana’s special St. Patrick’s Day hat she made at school and hid out waiting for the leprechaun to show up!

We didn’t wait long! That leprechaun snuck in and tried to take everything! Adam caught him but he somehow dropped the gold and got away! He did take all of kalixta’ s gifts she made him! And he left the kids a lot of green goodies and Lucky Charms!!

We ended our green day with corn beef and cabbage and asparagus, since the kids are not fond of cabbage, and green shamrock shakes!!! As Ariana said it was the, “BEST green St. Patrick’s Day EVER!!!!”

The girls have become quite the cheerleaders watching so many sports games throughout their lives. It seems like the last year has been filled with them!

Nik has had real cheerleaders at his football and basketball games this year! The girls have watched them all year and have become good friends with them! The cheerleaders love Britain, Kalixta, Ari, Tori and Michael!! They love seeing them everyday and they always give them hugs!

During basketball games my girls loved doing everything the cheerleaders did! It was so cute to watch them!

Nik played basketball for his school, UCMS!

He had a lot of fun playing! He has a lot of natural talent but has never really played.

It was a big learning experience for him!

Nik averaged 11 points a game and 15 rebounds a game!

He had a few assists and turnovers each game too! Kalixta loved to sit next to me and keep track of his stats!

The team worked really hard and make it to the Championship game! It was an awesome close game that we won!

 Another Mom commented to me how she loves to see Nik’s big smile on the court! I love that he is such a happy player and has so much fun playing!!

Adam took Nik and Ammon to watch Stars Wars in 3D so I thought I would do something fun with the girls! I asked Zoe what she wanted to do! Her response was an art project and then go get ice cream! Done!! I love that she wants to do art projects!!

With St. Patrick’s Day coming up we decided the house needed a little green!

We got wax paper and shaved some crayons on it and then melted the wax to make the perfect suncatchers!

The girls did a great job cutting shamrocks out to glue onto the wax paper and complete the project!

 Britain is a little bit of a camera hog!! Hahaha!

Ammon played basketball for the school this year too! He had a lot of fun and really learned a lot and improved tons!

Ammon was a little hesitant at the beginning of the season. The first couple games he passed the ball quickly, but he gained skills and confidence and by the third game he was dribbling and handling the ball like a pro!

Ammon’s last game the coach let him do the tip off! He was pretty excited about that!!

All the kids go to the games with me! They don’t always like it but I feel that it is important to support each other as siblings and friends! Anyways they often bring paper and pens to write and color! Kalixta drew this picture at one of the games!! I love it! This is exactly what I want to teach them…love for each other!

I am so proud of my little man and his basketball skills!!

Zoe decided to play basketball for her school this year! I was surprised and delighted that she decided to play!

She really enjoyed playing and made a lot of progress this year!

She had a great coach and learned a lot from him! She made lots of great friends on her team too!

She got more and more aggressive each game!

She got shoes just for basketball from Uncle Jeffy and Auntie Kylie!

All the basketball players got this on their lockers! So cute!!

Her team had an good record and finished 2nd!! I enjoyed watching Zoe play and learn and get better! I am so proud of my girl!!

We had a great time celebrating Jeff’s birthday with him! He is so much fun to be around! The kids love him soooo much!!

Michael thought Uncle Jeffy’s present was pretty!!

Tori wasn’t feeling too hot! She has pneumonia! But she still had to give Uncle Jeffy his gift!!

We all had a great Valentines Day yesterday. For me it was a day filled with love and a deep appreciation of all that I have! My kids are my world and I love them more than I can put into words! Watching them enjoy the little things everyday brings me joy, but watching them enjoy the “best day EVER!” is so much fun!

Daddy woke the girls up with their Valentines he gave them! They love their Daddy so much! He got them balloons and a little Valentine cup with fun stuff in it!

I helped Tori make a Valentine’s bag and all the kids gave her Valentines so she wouldn’t feel left out! She had a great time making ones for her brothers and sisters too!

Ariana had the “BEST DAY EVER!” The girl loved everything about this day of love!

Britain got a few “special” Valentines from some boys! She was pretty embarassed about that!!

Kalixta loved making her Valentines. She is such a sweet love!

Ammon is as silly as always! The only thing he liked about Valentines Day was the candy!

My sweet hubby spoiled me as always! He got me some gorgeous flowers! Adam is my sweetest Valentine! I am so grateful to spend this life and eternity with him!
