Tori Girl!

Zoe and I love to listen to all the silly things that Tori comes up with! Zoe and I share stories at the end of the day about what she has said! Zoe told me a story one night and so I had to hear it from Tori myself I brought her into my room to talk to her about it and Adam took a video of it! She said more than I could of hoped for!! She cracks me up! What and how she says things is priceless to me!! I really wish she could stay frozen as my 3 year old forever!!

Go Raiders

Nik is playing football for the Channel Island Raiders! He loves playing football and has loved the challenge that comes in high school! He was asked to play JV instead of freshman and he is doing so so so good! His team is won both their games so far this year! Last week they played Oak Park and it was his best game yet!!

Nik is number 42!

He plays offense, defense and on all special teams!

He looks so good out there!! My baby!!!

Ammon enjoys watching his big brother play!!

Uncle Jeffy taped up Nik’s shoes pretty cool!!

Here are a few videos of Nik’s big plays! This is his first touchdown of this game but his second this season.

The score board after his touchdown.

Nik had 4 catches for 64 yards.

His second touchdown of the game!!

Here is a little defense Nik causes the fumble and then falls on the ball and recovers it!

Nik is the punter also. It is hard to tell in this video but he almost put it on the 1 yard line!

Remember

Today at the kids’ school it was Patriot’s Day. They all wore red, white and blue! There was a short assembly including a flag raising ceremony.

It was a great way to remember 911. Remember what a great country we live in! Remember all those who died on this day 11 years ago! Remember all those who serve us daily!

The kids each took a flower to school and placed it at the bottom of the flag pole! I love watching all the kids at the school do this!

There was so many people so it was hard to get good shots. After school I took the younger kids so I could get a picture of them.

Even Tori got to put flowers down! She felt like such a big girl!!

I am grateful to live here in this great country. I am grateful my kids go to a school that teaches them The Pledge of Allegiance! And that it teaches them to remember…..

Happy Happy Birthday Kylie

Today is Kylie’s birthday and so we just wanted to wish her a happy happy day!!!

Jeffy got her a long board that made all the kids jealous!!:)

We love you Kylie!!!!

Arrow Of Light

Ammon loves scouts! He is a hard worker and enthusiastically does any scout activity I mention!! Last night at pack meeting he helped with the flag ceremony!

I love watching him!

He worked really hard this summer and with the help of his amazing scout leader he earned 9 activity pins!!

He also earned the highest award Cub Scouts has to offer! It is the only award he can wear on his Boy Scout uniform that he will get next month as he turns 11 and moves on! Ammon earned his Arrow Of Light!

I am so proud of my boy!!

Missing the Beach

We are right back into the schedule of school, homework, church activities, and football! Life in the fall is busy and crazy! While I do enjoy it I miss the lazy days of summer!! I miss heading to the beach or pool whenever we want! Here are some pictures of some of our beach adventures this summer!

Ammon has loved learning how to boogie board! I can’t believe he can just jump in that cold water!!

The smile on his face says it all! He loves it!!

Britain likes just floating on the board!

Even Michael loves riding the boogie board!!

Ariana doesn’t need a boogie board! She likes to body surf!

Everybody loves for Nik to pull them on the boogie board. Just get a little water under that board and they fly!!

The cold water doesn’t phase Ammon!

Nik has been trying to learn to surf too!

He has yet to get up but he is having a good time!

Back To School Fashion Show

We had our yearly Back to School Fashion Show Monday night! The girls love love showing off their new school outfits! Zoe was our super awesome announcer!

Ariana bounced down the runway in her pink shirt and black and white skirt!

I was surprised how shy Britain was during the fashion show!

Kalixta was even more shy and barely stop for a picture! I think it is so funny the tags are still one Kalixta’s shoes!

Bouncy Ari in her second outfit! She is a skirt kinda girl!!

The final selection of outfits!

Each girl chose their own clothes so I take no credit for the mismatching!! I can’t wait until they are teenagers and question why I let them wear that!!

Taking their bows with their backpacks! There is the Britain I know!!

First Day of School

The first day of school came waaaaaaaay too early for me! I love having the kids home with me and no schedule! We can wake up when we want, go to the pool everyday and just relax! The kids were ready to start though and so very excited for this day to come!!!

Ariana has been counting it down for almost two weeks! She bounced out of bed and into her clothes today! She could not wait to get to school and be a 1st grader!

She did get a little shy when she had a different teacher than she was expecting! Her new teacher is Kalixta’s teacher from last year whom I love love love! So I am excited! I took this picture, then wrote a little note to her on the heart. She gave me a kiss and told me I could go! I can’t believe how fast she has grown!!

Zoe is a big 7th grader and in her second year at the junior high! We had a great time thrift store shopping for some new clothes this last week!

She has been counting down the days with Ari! She was so excited to get out and see her friends she jump out of the car before I was completely stopped!

The one thing she really wanted was a new orange backpack!!

Kalixta is my crier! She cries everyday the first week even though she is really excited to be there! She has a new teacher who was Nik’s teacher in the 2nd and 3rd grades. She did cry and give me a BIG hug this morning but soon found a friend and sat down! 3rd grade here she comes!!

This is the first year Ammon hasn’t cried! He gave me a BIG hug and then was off! He has the same teacher and the same classroom just as a big 5th grader!

The thing on his leg is a dare! About 10 days ago Zoe dared Ammon to wear that on his leg until the end of the first day of school! Ammon has wore it to the pool and the beach! He has showered with it and slept with it!! Please, no one else dare this boy to do anything!!!

Britain got out of the car and wanted to run to school! She didn’t want to wait for me at all! She has the same teacher as last year and can’t wait for a fun 3rd grade year!!

Good luck to my sweet kids this year in school!

Scout Camp

Ammon had the chance to go to scout camp this year! He got to go all day for five days!! It was a fun filled camp where he did and learned a lot!!

He got to go rock climbing!

All strapped up and ready to go!

The boys called these monkey arms or bungie jumping! Whatever it is called it is pretty fun!! Ammon was good at flipping!

Ammon made a boat to race in the rain gutter regatta!

The boys shot bb guns and did archery! The top seven shooters did a shoot off to find the best shooter! Ammon came in 2nd! He was pretty pleased! This is the officer over the shooting area who supervised the shoot off!

Firemen came to talk to the boys! Then they gather all the boys onto the open field and cooled them down!!

It was so fun to watch 120 boys, girls and leaders dancing in water! The firemen had so much fun wetting all those kids!!

Ammon also got to joust!

He also participated in an egg drop! Ammon wrapped the egg in plastic bags and put it in a box that he wrapped with plastic bags and put in another box that he wrapped in plastic bags and put in a shoe box!

The box was thrown in the air!

Ammon’s egg survived!!! He was pretty pleased and carried that egg around all day!!!

Ammon had a blast at day camp! And he learned and passed off lots of scouting stuff! I am in awe and so very thankful to the many people who put this together and volunteered so much of their time!!!

Fiesta

A few more memories from our fun days at the Fiesta!

Tori was able to go on a few big girl rides!  She was tall enough and so she was determined to go on it! She was so excited! I was a little worried that the ride would spin too fasat for her! Her pose says it all! “I told you I would LOVE it!” And love it she did!

She also loved loved the big swings! Every time she went around she had a huge smile on her face!

There were a few rides she still couldn’t on! She didn’t like that at all!

Sadly watching the other kids have fun!

Britain and Kalixta love this ride!

Cami and Ariana

Ammon and Gabi

The girls found their sweet little cousin and had so much fun with her! I love this picture of them!

The slide is always a favorite! Ariana’s expression says it all!

Toward the end of the day Tori loved going down all by herself!!

Zoe braved the biggest ride at the Fiesta! The Hammer! Once she told Britain and Kalixta how much fun it was they had to go on it too! This is their first time! Zoe’s friend Deanna went with them too!

Ammon went on The Hammer last year so it was no big deal for him!

They all survived!! And had a blast!!
