All the kids have this whole week off! Yeah!! I love no school. It gives us time to relax and do stuff we usually don’t have time to do!

Monday for Family Night we made apple turkeys and then watched Rudy!! Such a good movie!

Ariana!

Ariana lost her first front tooth Saturday night! She has been waiting “years” to lose her tooth!! Haha!!

Her tooth has been loose for a little while! She would come see Adam every night and open big to see if it was ready to get pulled out! He hasn’t wanted to hurt her  so he would check and then tell her it was ready yet! Saturday night Adam and I went out. When I called to check on them Ariana told me she had pulled it out all by herself!! The older girls swear she was trying to open something with her teeth when it came out! However it happened it happened and her little tooth is gone!!

Michael is talking more and more!! It is so fun to hear him copy and repeat words! His newest word is “Cheese!” He says it with this face whenever the camera is out! Problem is he is so busy I can barely get it!

I took this video over a month ago. You can hear him say stinky, bye-bye, wow! yes, thank you, Ariana and Ammon. You can also see how busy he is!! He never stops!! He gives high fives, blows kisses and shakes hands!

He now says a ton more including pumpkin, book, doggie, bird, ball, more, bath, Nik, cup, no, Ta-da! and  Yeah! He loves to coloring and play with cars. He always has a ball in his hands! He is so much fun!! Love my little man!!

We made our thankful turkeys Monday night! Besides the food this is my most favorite Thanksgiving tradition!!

I love seeing what everyone is thankful for and how that has changed!

I also love to see the growth in hands over the year!!

Kalixta and Britain made Thankful Turkeys with their awesome Activity Day’s leader last week so they have two up on the fridge!

Michael is thankful for Mommy’s milk, pretzels, crackers & strawberries, Cartoons, Balls & cars, Mom, Dad, Brothers & Sisters.

Tori is thankful for Mom & Dad, Strawberry Shortcake, Nik, brothers & sisters, Church & Church Teachers.

Ariana did hers ALL by herself! She is thankful for Mom & Dad, Friends, Grandparents, Family.

Britain is thankful for Home, Aunts & Uncles, World, Family, Dad & Mom.

Kalixta is thankful for Family, Church, Friends, Temple.

Ammon is thankful for Family & Nik, Shelter & food, Parents, Life (the cereal).

Zoe is thankful for Me, Family, My Bed, Food & Friends.

Nik is thankful for Family & Ammon, Music, My hair, Tori.

Adam is thankful for OnlineRhino.com, Oxnard 2nd, CMHS, My beautiful wife & family.

It took me forever to narrow the things I am thankful down to four feathers!! I am thankful for Healthy, happy children, Supportive, loving husband, Gospel and primary, Pictures!

What is on your Thankful Turkey??

Last Monday we were waiting for a friend to come over when Tori and Michael climbed on a block and fell over! They both cried but stopped with hugs and love! Tori ran to answer the door and I noticed a few drops of blood on the floor! Yep, Tori split her head open a little! It was about an inch long and pretty wide so I knew she needed stitches! I called awesome Jeff and he came and watched Michael while I took Tori to the doctor. Adam called in a few favors from his friends he has made at work and I got in real quick!!

They put 2 staples in her head!

Yesterday we went to have them taken out! She told everyone who would listen that she liked them and wanted to keep them in forever!  The Dr. told her she would set off alarms at the airport and so they needed to come out!:)

She barely cried so since she was so brave we got ice cream cones after!!

Nik had his knee surgery one week ago today! Yes on Halloween, poor kid! He had to be at the hospital at 8:30. Surgery at 10:30. The Dr. came late and started late. The surgery was 2 hours so he came out at 2:30

The Doctor signed his knee so there wouldn’t be any confusion in the operating room!

The nurse put  sleepy juice in his iv and Nik was gone!!! Just before they wheeled him out he called out (a little loudly) I love you Mom!!

He was in a LOT of pain for about three days. Sunday he almost felt better! I unwrapped his knee that night!!

He has to wear his brace all the time!

Today we went for a check up and the Dr said everything looks perfect! The swelling has gone down a bit. He is walking better and in less pain.

Nik starts physical therapy next week! It will be a long couple of months for him but in the end it will be better for him!

The kids had a great Halloween! They literally spent the day counting down the hours until they could get ready to go out!

Ariana was my little Blue!

Tori was a sweet ballerina! Tori and Ari went trick-or-treating with their cousins Tatiana and KP! The girls had a blast taking turns ringing the door bells! They had to talk about and compare their candy as they got it at each house! They were so cute!! KP got tired of trick-or-treating after a block or so and enjoyed his candy while riding in the stroller!

Spiderman!! Michael got a balloon at one house and was content to sit in the stroller and play with it at first! Once he discovered each house gave out candy he wanted to go up and get more candy!! He would say thank you each time he got candy!!

The older kids went fast with Uncle Kenny and got more candy than ever!

Nik spent the morning at the hospital getting prepped for surgery and the afternoon in and recovering from it! Everything went well! He got home and just laid on the sofa! He felt pretty bad and his knee hurts a lot!! Adam spent the evening handing out candy and taking care of Nik! Today Nik feels better but is still in a lot of pain!!

The kids had a great time picking pumpkins! Michael thought they were just a bunch of balls and loved rolling and throwing them! He now says the word pumpkin (pumpin)!

Michael didn’t want anything to do with the pumpkin once the top came off! Daddy had to do all the dirty work!

Tori thought the guts were disgusting!! Her face says it all! I think this is all she did!

Ariana loved getting in there and getting it all out!

We are so lucky, Marci, Kenny and KP are here for the week so they came and did pumpkins with us!!

They loved the whole process and they turned out super cute!

I saw the cutest little bats on Pinterest that I just had to try! First the kids painted. Always fun!!

Then we put eyes and a ribbon on them to hang them up!!
