Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with Adam’s family! There is always lots of laughing and good times when we are all together! Santa did not disappoint the kids! He stopped by to give them a few gifts and get lots of love!

He got lots of hugs from Ariana and Tori!

Santa didn’t get any love from Michael!

Britain loved Santa though!

I finally got a picture of Santa and Zoe!

Ammon and Kalixta with gifts from Santa!

Santa was even kind enough to take a picture with Adam and I!

Santa, Adam, and his sister Diane and brother Nick! It is really too bad Adam’s other brother Lou wasn’t there for the picture!

Christmas Pj’s

Christmas Eve we stopped to visit my Grandma. She always gets our family new Christmas jammies.

She picked the perfect pj’s for Zoe! She loved her footies pj’s!

Britain and Kalixta loved loved their jammies too!

Tori loved her’s so much she insisted they were clothes and that she could wear them anytime!

Grandma thought the little angels on Ariana’s jammies were busy beautiful girls just like Ari!

The boys weren’t running to put their pajamas on like the girls but their pajamas were perfect for them!

Christmas morning with all the kids in their cute pj’s!

Ginger Bread Houses

We had a wonderful wonderful Christmas! So great that it will take me a few days to document it all!

Each year we all look forward to making ginger bread houses together. This has been Marci and Kenny’s Christmas present to the kids for the last five years! This year was no different but we had to make the houses without them! The Platts didn’t come for Christmas and we miss them so very much! But we were able to fill their love as we decorated our houses!

Lots of help setting up!

Silly silly kids!

It wasn’t our usually crowd but it was great to have Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie Marie and her bestie Jessica with us!

Auntie Marie helped Tori make her ginger bread house!

Jessica helped Ariana make the “best house ever!!”

Michael had a great time eating everything that we put in front of him!

Ammon’s had a lot of candy placed on it!

Kalixta’s lovely house!

Britain worked a long time on her house and it turned out great!

Nik’s are always the most interesting….

Zoe’s was awesome!

Thank you so MUCH Kenny, Marci and KP! We loved our gift and missed you guys so so so much!!

Sunday was also Christmas Adam. Our family joke, because Adam came before Eve! Our family tradition is that all the kids get to sleep in front of the tree! I didn’t know if they would want to since the floor is tile and hard and cold. But tradition is tradition and you can’t tell my kids different, so they slept by the tree. Except for Nik because he really likes his bed!

MVP!!

So much goes on in the month of Dec that it is hard to keep track, but I had to post this! Nik had his football banquet at CI last week! He was awarded the MVP award for the JV! He led the team in touchdowns, receptions, yards, tackles and a few things I know I am missing!

A week later the coach told him to come see him after school and gave him the Offensive Player Of the Year also!

I am so proud of Nik, not only for his accomplishments on the field but off the field too! He continues to stand apart from his peers and isn’t tempted to break the Word of Wisdom! He is a good example to them and is a very loyal friend! He is making very good decisions in his life right now (though I can always see better ones he could make:) and is working hard to rehab his knee in time for baseball season. Love you Son, keep up the hard work!!

Santa!!

Saturday night was our Christmas Party at church. It was a Polar Express theme and looked amazing. The decoration were beautiful and the food was delicious!! We each had a ticket to get in and super cute train workers escorted us to our seats!

Kinda blurry of Nik but I didn’t get a better one:( He and Zoe looked so cute!!

Santa came and brought bells to each of he kids!

They all enjoyed talking to Santa!

Temple Lights

I took the kids down to see the Los Angeles Temple lights while Adam was on his business trip! We all love going to the temple and seeing it all lit up with Christmas lights is extra special. The feeling there is best feeling ever!

The kids walked around the temple with My Mom, Kylie and I while Zoe went in the temple with Uncle Jeffy. Nik was at his football banquet and I missed having him with us!

Britain LOVES to take pictures. She was constantly saying take a picture Mom. Here Mom! And of course they all turned out beautiful!!

Michael LOVED all the lights!

We enjoyed the visitors center and a beautiful Christmas Concert! It was an amazing evening!

Michael

Michael is a silly boy! He has a crazy silly fun personality and cracks me up constantly! He is learning new words and expressions everyday! I can’t imagine a day with out him!!

Yesterday I found a package of candy empty in the pantry. I pulled it out and asked all the kids who ate the candy. Everyone, of course, said not me not me! It was silent for 10 seconds and then Michael raised his hand and yelled Meeeeee! We all started cracking up!

Adam went to Vegas for work this weekend. The kids all missed their Daddy a ton!! I went to get Michael out of the car and asked Michael were Daddy was. He started waving and saying Hi Dad! Hi Dad! I got the best picture on my phone to send to Adam!

When Michael did talk to Adam on the phone he said Hi Dad over and over and over again! He did not want to share the phone with any of the other kids either!

Since we are constantly on the go Michael sometimes has to nap in the car!! I love his cute little sleeping face!!

Sometimes he is forced to sleep where ever he falls! This time he was hanging with Nik!

One morning we walked to the Camarillo Library with Zoe’s Class. Michael had a blast terrorizing the library and throwing all the books off the shelves!! No joke! He exhausted himself and knocked out on the way home!!

Michael loves to put his head on the ground and look through his legs! He thinks this is soooo funny!! Sometimes he tips over because he is laughing so much!!

It was even funnier when Tori did it with him!!

Christmas Tree Craft

Tori wants to go to school so badly and I want to just keep her here with me!! So I try to do school and craft things just with her! Any and all painting is the best!!

Yesterday Michael took a nap in the early morning so he wasn’t ready for an afternoon one so he got to paint too! He loved it!!

Of course he got super messy too!

Tori painted snow on a black piece of paper and then decorated her tree with lots of colors!

Michael is saying ta-da!!

Another First

Michael had a first that I could have missed! Michael drew on the wall for the first time this week! He was quite proud of his art!

Thankfully it was just pencil and it came right off! With all the pencils, crayons, and pens all over this house I am afraid this is the first on many!!

Christmas Tree

We got the Christmas Tree up and all decorated! I love the smell of our fresh tree!

The tree is right in front of the window! I have always wanted that but it has never worked out. I love this view!

Now I just have to keep Michael away!
