Britain and Kalixta’s 9th Birthday

My sweet baby twins turned 9 years old on Friday! They are great amazing girls! They had a fabulous day and they totally deserved it!!

Britain wanted a rainbow cake! She even drew me a picture! She said her cake turned out just how she wanted it to!

Kalixta wanted a flower cake! She loved loved her cake!

The girls got lots of love on their special day!

They got some fun special gifts too!

They each got a new pair of jeans! Kalixta picked purple and Britain’s are pink!

They, of course love modeling their new clothes!!

We love having family close to celebrate with!

Happy happy birthday Kalixta and Britain!! I sure love you two!!

Ammon’s team did great Friday night! They won 30-8. Ammon had 8 points, at least 3 rebounds and 2 assists.

Favorite People!

These are three of my favorite people that we got to see during Christmas break!!  We love Marie, Jordan and Michelle so very much and miss them a ton!!

Love you guys!!

Christmas Suprise

We came home to relax and visit with my parents and Marie! Everyone else was gone for Christmas this year so it was very unusual. We missed them all very very much!

My Mom and Dad had a special surprise for our family!! Check it out!!

Each of their reactions crack me up!! They are all very excited to go to Disneyland!!!

The kids each got a box with a bag of corn nuts and a note that said. “Grandma and Grandpa want you to go nuts at Disneyland!”

Since Michael is free Grandma got him a special present!

He loves his little Mickey Mouse Car! Ar first he only wanted to push it!

The kids taught him quickly to ride it!

Thanks again Mom and Dad!!

Christmas Afternoon

After  breakfast we headed over to Adam’s parents house for more family, more fun and more presents.

The kids love being spoiled by Grandma, Grandpa, Great-Grandma, Aunts and Uncles!

The best thing though is spending time with family!!!

The Cousins (only one is missing)!

Everyone else!

Thank you Mom, Dad, Grandma Gloria, Nick and Donna, Rhea and Diane and Lou!! We love you guys!!

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning Britain, Kalixta and Ariana were up at 6:30. They came and woke Adam  and I up. Adam told them 15 more minutes so they patiently waited for me to get everyone else up!

The girls really really wanted these dolls! Santa did not disappoint! They were thrilled with all their great gifts!

Ammon got his football and tons of legos! He was really excited about his new book and all the other great things he got!

Ariana loved and celebrated each thing she opened!

Tori loved opening presents! She loves her Hello Kitty shirt Nik gave her!

Zoe got some awesome soft pajama pants, her sweatshirt she wanted, and the scratch and color she wanted among other cool stuff!

Nik got some pretty sweet clothes he was thrilled about!

Adam was grateful for his sweet gifts too!

Kylie and Jeff made all the girls a super cute hair band!

And a crayon holder!

We had a fabulous morning!! Thanks to all for the thoughtful gifts and all the love!!

Basketball Ammon

Ammon is playing basketball this year for his school. I origanlly thought Nik would play for CI, Britain and Kalixta wanted to play and I thought Zoe would play like she did last year! Having 5 kids playing would be a crazy schedule to maintain, but as it turned out I didn’t have to! Nik hurt his knee, Zoe decided not to play and Britain and Kalixta made the team for their school but all their games were on Sunday so they decided not to play, so now there is only Ammon!

He tried out with 21 others boys and came home sad because he felt he didn’t do well at try outs! He was over the moon excited and shocked when he found out he made the team!! His team has been practicing hard and it showed when they had their first victory Friday night! 26-21

Ammon is number 50.

He handles and dribbles the ball often!

I caught the tail end of his first two points and his good defense!

He ended the game with 2 points and 2 assists in two quarters of play. It is a big team and the coach is great and getting everyone fair playing time!

It will be a fun season!!

Happy 13th Birthday Zoe!!

Zoe turned 13 yesterday! That’s makes 2 teenagers in our household!!

Zoe had a great birthday! Her church leaders decorated the porch and left her a gift to wake up to  in the morning!

She got lots of love and kisses on her special day!

She got great thoughtful gifts! Thank you everyone!!

The Moore Family came over to celebrate with us!

So did the Grandparents! 🙂

Her bestie spent the day with her too!

Thank you to everyone who made her day amazing, she sure felt the love!!

I love my sweet, helpful, faithful, hard working daughter! She is amazing and I am so proud of her!! I love you Zoe!! Happy Birthday!!

Santa and a Pickle

The girls always spoil Santa and his reindeer. This year they left chocolate milk because that is his favorite,  so they were told by Dad!

They also left him lots of notes!

Santa spoils them back by leaving a little note for them!

Santa set everything up perfectly!

Santa left all Michael’s gifts unwrapped so he could see them when he got up! It didn’t matter though, all Michael had eyes for were the chips!!

Christmas morning the kids were excited to read Santa’s letter and look for the pickle ornament hidden in the tree! There was a special gift for finding the pickle!

Ariana with LOTS of help from Zoe found the pickle!

And got the pickle gift!

This is my favorite wall in the house right now! I love getting letters and pictures from friends far and near!

Rose Parade!

We woke up early (6:00) New Year’s Day and drove down to Pasadena to watch the Rose Parade! We had so much fun watching all the beautiful floats go by!

Michael cheering for the floats! He liked all the action and noise and people but thought the parade was a little long!

Ariana loved and got so excited over all the floats!

Silly Ammo!

All the floats were so amazing! The kids loved the Cars float!

Another family favorite was the tractor float!

After the parade we headed over to IKEA. They had free kid’s meal for kids 12 and under!! Our whole family ate for $11!! Gotta love that! We went with a few friends and together we had a total of 25 kids!! Poor IKEA!

We had a blast and have added this to our list of things to do each year!!

Happy New Year!!
