We have had such a busy and fun weekend!! It started by dying Easter Eggs with the family!

Michael did not want to dye the eggs by putting them in the dye. He wanted and loved painting them! He would brush the egg a few times and be done! We had to re-dye his eggs but he had a blast and that is what is important!

ALL the eggs!! We ended up with almost 36 dozen eggs! Zoe had lots of help from Britain and Kalixta color coordinating the eggs!

Michael is so funny! He is constantly doing things on accident and purpose to crack me up!!  He has a silly, determined, destructive personality that comes out in all he does!!

The other night at dinner he put his bowl on his head!

He would not let anyone touch it!

He will only wear hats or glasses for a short time and refuses to take pictures so these ones with Nik’s glasses on are priceless!

Michael loves loves loves to take showers! It is hard to describe how much!! Whenever anyone gets in the shower he wants to get in too and he is pretty persuasive!! On a typical bath night at our house I will put him in the bath with Tori and Ari. Once Britain gets in the shower he will get out of the bath and into the shower with her. He will stay in there until she is done and then shower with Kalixta and then shower with Ammon. He will get out, get dressed but then wants to shower again when Nik takes a shower. He loves to get in in the morning with Zoe or Adam! It is pretty funny.

The other morning I didn’t have time to let him shower with Adam so as soon as we walked in the house from taking the kids to school (an hour later) he walked straight upstairs to the bathroom and wanted to take a shower, which he did all by himself!

He does love to hold the shower head but doesn’t do it often! He stand right in the stream of water and plays!!

Yesterday he pulled a chair up to the counter and climb up, he then threw a carton of empty eggs (for confetti eggs) one by one onto the floor!

Later that afternoon we had the plastic Easter eggs out. He was standing on the table throwing them every where! He then got down and walked around stomping on all the eggs!!

We are in for a LOT of adventures with this one!!

It is no secret that Adam loves rhino. The kids know that and point out anything rhino. They draw him pictures with rhinos every birthday and Father’s Day! The other day Kalixta was playing with legos and made…you guessed it, a rhino! She was so proud!!

I love my thoughtful creative kids!!

Britain and Kalixta are in the same class right now for the first time ever! It is interesting. I liked Britain’s teacher so much and so I moved Kalixta into her class after Christmas break. There are ups and downs to it. One up is that for their biogrpahy book report I had to go to one class room!!

They each picked a book and read it. They then had to write 10 facts about their person on index cards. They had to dress up like that person and then present in front on the class! They both did a wonderful job! I am so proud of my sweet girls!

Kalixta went first. She was Dian Fossey.

Britain was Barack Obama.

The hardest thing about not blogging is starting again! Sorry I have been away for so long. So many things are going on that I don’t want to miss them. Blogging about them helps me remember! So here we go!

St Patrick’s Day was very anticipated at our house! Green Church clothes were picked out on Monday and I was reminded what we did last year! I love that my kids love the fun things I do for them and want to repeat and make them tradition! They all woke up to rainbow pancakes!!

Kalixta planned out many traps and talked to Daddy about them. She decided to leave a trail of gold coins!

Daddy waited behind the door and slammed it shut when the leprechaun went in to get the coins!

When we all opened the closet the sneaky leprechaun was gone but left us some yummy treats!

Nik, Zoe, Britain and Kalixta love to dress Michael up and do his hair! Sunday’s is Nik and Zoe’s favorite day to do that! They even had a photo shoot one week!

Happy Valentine’s Day to all of our wonderful family and friends!! We love you all and are so grateful to have you in our lives!

We had a great day! The girls all got special Valentines from their Daddy! He loves to spoil them!

Michael is a silly crazy little dude! He is so much fun and has so much personality! He got a special Valentine from Mommy!

Michael now says I love you! He only says it to me! 🙂 Here’s a short video. First he says hello and then hello again! The third time he talks is when he says I love you!!

He has also started giving me kisses when I don’t ask for them. He will just randomly kiss me which warms my heart! There is not much better than that!!

Adam and I celebrate our 14th anniversary today!

It has been 14 years since this picture was taken! At that time I couldn’t imagine the trip we would be going on! It has had its ups and down but it has been worth ever minute of it!

Adam, my Love, I love you more and more each day! You are amazing, patient and exactly what I need and want! I am so grateful that I can spend an eternity with you!!

My sweet niece Mariyah turned 14 on Sunday!! She is a joy to know! We celebrated her birthday yesterday!

Going back to December for a day! The greatest thing about Christmas was meeting my new niece Lucia! She is an absolute doll!!! She is so stinkn’ cute!!!
