Creative Kids

My girls are super creative. Give them a free afternoon and they will make up a dance routine, or a puppet show! They will set up a nail or beauty salon with signs and prices and fake money! They love to play store and set up money systems and prices!! I love to listen to them talk like grown ups and play! One of their favorites games is school!! The pick fake names, take turns teaching and have work sheets and grades!

One day as I was going through my pictures I found these gems! Apparently they were taking mug shots!! Haha! I don’t know how that came about! When I asked Zoe her and Britain just dissolved into laughter!!

They even took them from the sides!!

Funny girls, make me laugh!!!

Haircuts

The girls all got haircuts recently. Zoe and Kalixta kept it simply with a trim and layers. They love their soft hair!

Ariana wanted something new and short so that is what she got!!

She loves loves her hair!!

Too cute!!

Britain’s hair was long, thick, and gorgeous!

She decided she wanted to donate it to Locks Of Love!

She donated 13 inches!! I am so proud of her and her decision to help someone else! This is actually the third time she has donated!!

Her hair is still a good length! We all love it!

She is such a silly fun girl!! She always has me laughing!!

After watching Ariana get her hair cut, Tori wanted hers short too! She loves loves it short and often brushes it herself!! I did take pictures but I think my camera is done because they were all white! 🙁 So you will have to just take my word that she looks super adorable!!

Feeding The Ducks

We went one day and fed the ducks during Spring Break! The ducks must have been fed already that day because they didn’t eat much of our bread but the kids still had a great time trying. Spending time with family is always the best too!

Michael loved feeding the ducks and talking to them! He was scary though because throwing makes him move forward so I was afraid he would fall in the water!

Tori wanted to take pictures! She got some super great ones! I was surprised by some of them!!

She got several of Marci taking a picture of her!! Such a great one!

Kylie posing for Tori!!

Jeffy too!

I love this one she got of my beautiful Mother!

Homemade Pizza

We had a great time making pizza during spring break too! Anytime the kids get to help with dinner it is fun for them but this was a blast!

We started with homemade dough!

I even hand tossed the crust!

Then everyone put their own toppings on!

Even Michael decorated his!

They all came out delicious!!

This is a way fun family activity!

Pier Walk

We walked down the pier when the Utah crew was here!

I had a heart attack the whole way with Michael! He loved looking down over the edge!

And he had no fear!

He also thought is was fun to look through the cracks!

Marie and KP trying to keep warm!

There was a sea lion playing under the end of the pier. The kids ran back and forth back and forth trying to catch a glimpse of it!

Baby Eli

My sister Marie is a teacher in Utah. She had Spring Break last week, the same as us. She decided to come to sunny CA with Marci and her babies KP and Eli! My sweet sister-in-law Michelle, also a teacher on Spring Break came too! It was so great to see them! I miss them so very much! We did so much with them when we lived in Utah that we have a void being so far from them!!

The biggest thing I missed being in CA is the birth of my new nephew, Eli!! So thank goodness Marci came to visit so we could meet him!! He is adorable and we got to love him for almost a whole week!

Kalixta loved holding him! She tried so hard to sooth him when he cried! She was adorable with him!

Tori loved little Eli and was always checking on him!

Ammon loves having 2 boys cousins now!!

I love this pictures of Ariana and Eli’s hands!! Too cute!

He got lots of kisses and love from Ariana!

Britain loves her cousin too!

Nik got to hold him first! I was a little jealous!

Uncle Adam and Eli

Michael liked the “Baby” as long as Mom didn’t hold him too long! He even started calling him Baby Eli!

Zoe spent the first part of the week sick but she still got to hold Eli!

Tori’s Bump

In November Adam and I noticed a bump on the inside of Tori’s lip.

Two months later it was still there so I took her to the Dr, who told me to take her to the dentist, who told me to take her to the oral surgeon and have it removed!

We went to the oral surgeon who explained it was a clogged salivary glade and it needed to come out!

She decided this bump was her “friend” and she didn’t want it removed! Needless to say she didn’t win that one!

Friday March 29th we headed to the Oral surgeon, Dr Cole to have it removed! It was the perfect day because Nik was out of school to watch Michael and all the other kids were in school!

In the waiting room waiting for our turn!

Can’t wait for the bump to be gone!

Dr. Cole and his staff did an amazing job!! It was so hard to see her so out of it, but it is done! They didn’t put her completely to sleep. She was awake but not aware of anything! It was so weird!

I could hear her crying as she came out of it as I was waiting in the waiting room so I was ready when they came and got me! All she wanted was for me to hold her and then she still had a hard time!

Coming out of it!

We finally got to leave!

We came home and she climb in my bed and slept off the medication!

We stopped and got the promised ice cream even though she really didn’t want it for a few hours!

Her cute lip swelled up a tiny bit but not much and by late afternoon she was almost back to normal! She got two little stitches put in there!

The next day she was back to her normal self! She babied her lip a little but not too much! A few nights later I heard her crying in her sleep and could tell she was having a bad dream about taking her “friend”! Poor thing! Daddy brought her a new pony friend that she loves! So very glad to be done with that!!

Today it is almost completely healed! We go back to the Dr Friday for a check up! So glad that is done!!

Easter

The kids left notes and carrots for the Easter Bunny. They were thoughtful and very funny!

In turn the Easter Bunny left a note for them and a scavenger hunt to go on!

They had a blast finding the eggs and racing to the next egg.

They found the treats in the closet all labeled, smart Bunny!

They liked this new way to find their Easter treats but, unfortunately there was a little fighting!

It didn’t last long! There was nothing but smiles when they got the treats!

Michael loves the Easter Bunny! Really he loves anyone who gives him chips! He is a little addicted!

Confetti Eggs!

We had over 45 dozen confetti eggs this year!! It was awesome!! It just kept going and going!

Tori wasn’t looking forward to the confetti eggs! All week she told me she didn’t want any eggs smashed on her head! But she did have a blast!!

Ammon is so quick smashing eggs on everybody’s heads!

Ariana loved asking everyone to bend down so she could get them!

Kalixta helped Michael a little. He just wanted to dump out the confetti and flour!! I love that I got Zoe getting Michael with an egg!

I think Britain might have been the dirtiest!!

Tori was getting Daddy and Uncle Dennis snuck up behind him and got him too!!

I don’t know why Zoe looks so clean!! I know I got her a time or two!!

The Fam!! I love Tori’s face!! The one I see often! She is sad/mad because her ring pop got flour and confetti on it!!

Nikolas had a baseball double header and was gone all day! We missed him lots!!! I save 3 dozen eggs and we got him when we got home! We all waited by the car and told him to come help unload something! Adam  wrapped him up so he couldn’t run and everybody smashed him with eggs!! The best part…he had just taken a shower and was all clean!! I of course missed the picture but it was perfect!

Egg Hunt

Adam’s sister got a pet bunny. The kids loved petting it and seeing it but only Britain and Kalixta were able to brave it’s nails!

The Easter Egg Hunt was so fun!! The kids had a fun time running around searching for eggs!! They are all too fast to get any but after pictures of!

After all the eggs were found the kids sat on the trampoline and traded candies!

Michael didn’t really get the egg hunt! He found two eggs and figured out what was inside and was done!! Grandpa kept trying to show him more but he was pretty content with trying to eat the candy in the ones he had!

He didn’t really want his basket either he just want to hold his eggs in his hands! He caught on at the very end but all the eggs were gone by then! He still got his fill thanks to Mommy and Grandpa!
