Ammon’s Game 10-6-13

Ammon’s first game was a blow out! They won 44-6! We didn’t make it because of Conference but Adam’s Mom and Dad took him! They sent him this picture of Ammon’s new uniform!

He is wearing his new pink cleats and gloves too!

I didn’t get many details from the game but he had a blast and was excited for the win!

Knocked out!

Ariana was missing something? A tooth!

Monday night at Adam’s parents house the kids were playing soccer. Somehow her mouth hit Ammon’s knee and a previously not loose tooth was out! The other tooth is now loose! Thankfully those teeth did need to come out and would have in the next couple months, Ammon just helped them along!

She came to me with a mouth full of blood, crying but a little smile too! That smile got bigger when she heard the tooth fairy would be visiting her!

Once I cleaned her up and she was done crying she went to show Daddy her new smile and tooth. She was telling him what happened. She stops mid sentence looks at Ammon and my amazingly thoughtful girl asks him if his knee is okay!

Happy Birthday Adam!

Today is Adam’s birthday! He took the day off so we were able to spend it together!

Happy Birthday Love!!

Monday we went to his parents house to celebrate his Dad’s, Ammon’s and his birthdays! I made him yummy mint chocolate cupcakes!

Today he got lots of love, cards and presents from the kids!

These two are so silly!

He absolutely loves the cards the kids make him!

Taking a group shot if always an adventure! Michael was trying to pull Adam’s head back! Tori was fake picking her nose. It was crazy!

Adam is amazing! It is so hard to put into words what I feel for this man! His inner strength is amazing and his commitment to the gospel pushes me to be better! He works so hard to provide the best for our family! I wouldn’t want to go through life with anyone else by my side! I love you! Happy Birthday!

CI vs Santa Paula 10-4-13

Nik’s game against Santa Paula didn’t go the way we wanted it too! We led most of the game but Santa Paula pulled ahead and we just didn’t have enough in the end! CI made a lot of silly errors so that was frustrating too. We had that game but it is what it is!

Nik had 3 catches for 16 yards at the game! The QB threw to him a lot but the Santa Ana’s were going strong and made it hard. There was a few he should have had though. He also had a fumble. He said they teased him at school a ton so that will be his last!

Ammon waiting for the game to start!

Kalixta went to this game with me. We were not needed in the snack bar so we just got to hang out together! It was so nice to hear all about Kalixta!

Adam and I redid the snack bar sign! It was a lot of work but it turned out great!!

Court of Honor

Last Wednesday Nik and Ammon had their Scout Court of Honor!

Ammon lead the Flag Ceremony!

Nik got his last merit badge! He is now ready for his Eagle!!

Ammon earned his Tenderfoot, First Class AND Second Class! AND 4 merit badges, first aid, railroading, leather works and fingerprinting.

Ammon and his Scout Leader, Charles Bradshaw!

Trying to keep Michael entertained!

My Scouts!

With Dad!

And of course Mom!

Grandpa, Jeff and Joe made it to see the awards!

Ariana loves her Uncle Joe!

Dinner at Hometown Buffet!

We rarely go out to eat as a whole family so going to Hometown for Ammon’s birthday was a treat for everyone! Joe came and said hi and bye to everyone, he is leaving tomorrow so that was a special treat!

Jeff came and ate dinner with us! He is always fun to have around!

Charles and Marlene Bradshaw came and joined us too! They are so good to our family!

In addition to all the yummy foods and treats at Hometown, this day there was cotton candy!! We are a cotton candy loving family!!

They also had silly Garfield masks everyone loved!

It was a wonderful night!

First family photo in a while and half the kids have masks on!

Ammon’s 12th Birthday

This boy turned 12 today! So hard to believe!

We went out to dinner at Hometown Buffet to celebrate! More pics of that later! He loved dinner!

He got lots of love on his special day!

He got everything he wanted and more!

Pink cleats!

Football gloves from Grandpa Buzz and Grandma Sylvia!!

Grandma Mike gave Ammon some of Grandma Mike’s scout pins! He thought that was pretty special!

He also got a suit for his special 12th birthday…pictures of that to come!:)

At the end of the day I asked him how his birthday was, he looked at me with excited eyes and said it was the best ever!! Love my boy!! He has such a silly, loving personality. He is quick to get angry but fast to forgive and move one! Ammon is very talented athletically even though he is on the small side. He is fast and loves to run. Football and basketball are his favorite sports! He is so smart and excels at school. His progress report shows all A’s and B’s. Ammon continues to love making origami and always has paper with him! Ammon is often shy. He doesn’t like to correct people when they constantly mispronounce his name! Ammon brings lots of laughter to our family!

Happy Birthday Ammon! We love you!

Flag Football Scrimmage

Ammon is playing flag football this year! He has been practicing for over a month and had his first scrimmage Saturday. He played well. He plays safety and running back!

His team is called the Raiders! Perfect right? But their colors are back and silver. They didn’t have uniforms yet but he is wearing an all black shirt and black short with stripes down the sides!

He had an interception that Jeff got a picture of ! Go Jeff!

He ran the ball twice and maybe had 5 yards! He had a couple “tackles”! It was a fun game and he had a blast!

Ammon’s team won 20-0!

Michael had a great time running around everywhere!

CI vs San Marcos 9-27-13

The Raiders played San Marcos Friday night. The final score was CI 33 San Marcos 38. It was the best game CI has played!  The score went back and forth and CI led much of the game but San Marcos score with 1 minute left of the clock and CI couldn’t connect to make that big play in the end. It was very disappointing for everyone! It was a hard fought game!

Nik had a short catch for 2 yards.

Ammon was ball boy/ water boy and enjoyed it much more this game!

Zoe had a sleepover so the other four girls got to stay with Grandma Sylvia, that is heaven for them! That meant that Michael stayed with me! He was good just a little restless. He had to go potty about four times, though he only really went twice! Jeff took him under the bleachers for a little exploring!

Three cute boys during half time!

My brother Joe is in town so he and Jeff drove down to the game! I was taking a picture of Joe, Jeff and Ammon when Nik came up but he left the picture too quick for my slow phone!

The next one is good of Nik but Jeff looked down and Joe went to say hi to someone! Oh well!

Ammon the football player!

Hiding

Michael brings so much fun to our family! He is crazy, bright and so funny! He loves everything about life!

He loves to bury himself in my pillows. On the bed or on the floor it doesn’t matter.

Today I came into my room to hear him snuggling deep!

Haha! Can you see him?

After I got this picture, I called where is Michael. He threw the pillow back and yelled Boo!
