Rhea’s birthday is today so we went over to wish him a happy happy birthday.

The whole Gang!!

January Temple Trip

Now that football is over and life is settling down we got back on schedule with our monthly family temple trip. The kids have been wanting to go.

Nik and Zoe took Ammon inside for the first time now that he has tunred 12. It was a special night!

Michael wanted a picture right were his big siblings were!

The younger kids and I walked around the temple before going over to the visitor’s center.

I love that I can walk around the temple with my children!

I love that they know that this is the Lord’s house!

I love that they know there is no better place to be!

I love that they LOVE to see the temple.

I love to see the temple!

Disney Hotel

We stayed one night at the Disney Hotel! It was beautiful and amazing and I wish we would have had more time in the hotel but we enjoyed what time we had.

On Thursday we were at the hotel at 6 am to check in. The lobby was fun and entertaining for the kids!

The Christmas trees where beautiful!

There was a ginger bread house that was so cool!

The seats where half tea cups! So cute!

The lights outside were beautiful!

At lunch time we took a little break and played in the pool at the hotel. There were three water slides, one of them small enough for Tori! The kids LOVED the pool!

I would have loved to taken more pics but this little dude was out and I wanted to stay close!

The room was beautiful from the Mickey sink handles to the Mickey hand holding the light fixture. The head board and beds were beautiful!!

We checked out Friday night. The kids were exhausted and enjoyed resting their feet in these elegant small chairs!

Adam saying good bye to Mickey and Minnie!

Disney Souviners

The kids each had money to pick out something to remember their trip by. Britain knew exactly what she wanted, a Minnie mouse hat and necklace!

Kalixta took the longest but finally found ears she loved and a beautiful necklace!

Tori wanted a princess crown so these ears were perfect and of course she needed a sucker!

Ariana loves her ears and her sucker!

Michael loves his new Astro Blaster! He also got a sucker and found a Lightning McQueen car in the hotel that in now his!

Ammon had a hard time finding something he would really wear! This shirt is perfect for him!

Zoe wanted so many things but finally settled on this cute shirt!

Nik found this Cali beanie and wanted it!! Too bad I couldn’t get him to take a good picture:)!

Bye Bye Jeff and Kylie

Jeff and Kylie moved to Chico yesterday! It was a sad day! Jeff got a promotion with his job and is now an office manager for Vivint Solar. He is opening a brand new office over there in Chico! We are super excited for him and so very bummed at the same time!

They loaded up the U-haul Saturday, and headed out Sunday! It was all very sudden and the kids are still processing it. But we all miss them already!!

They will be very very missed!

We love you Jeff and Kylie!! Have fun on your new adventure!

Zoe’s 14th Birthday

Happy happy birthday to my Zoe! She turned 14 yesterday. She is a remarkable girl!!

She woke up to our front door being decorated by her leaders at church!

Her Grandmas came over with presents and love!

Earlier in the week her Aunts Marci and Marie took her shopping. She finally got to show me her new clothes she had picked out.

Before our Disneyland trip Aunt Kylie had taken Zoe and they got their nails done!

She got awesome footies Sponge Bob jammies from Grandma Sylvia and Grandpa Buzz.

Zoe and I went to the mall for a little while. I took her to Estee Lauder where they did her make up.

For her birthday dinner we had fettuccine Alfredo!  Any pasta dish is Zoe’s favorite.

Nik spoiled his sister with lots of yummy candies and an eos, her favorite chap stick!

Happy Birthday Zoe!

I can’t believe their are 14 candles on that cake! In the early years of having kids I did not look forward to having teenagers! I love little ones. I know how to deal with them (for the most part:)! But not teenagers! I always said I would raise the babies and let Adam deal with the teens! Well, so far, my teenagers are amazing!! Zoe has her moments but she is helpful beyond degree, easy to talk to and reason with, obedient, courteous, kind and fun! Her laugh makes me smile! She loves life. And most importantly she love Christ and His Gospel and strives her hardest to live it! I am so proud of her and love her with all my heart!

California Adventure

We spent Friday the 3rd at California Adventure!

Tori spent the beginning asleep! Thursday had been such a big day and Friday we were up at 5:30 so we could be in line at the park at 6:30 to take advantage of our magic morning.

She woke up quick when we entered Cars Land! It was so cool! So many fun thing to look at and see! It was so much like the movie! We all loved it!

The boys stood in line to get fast passes for Radiator Springs Racers while the rest of us went on Luigi’s Flying Tires. It was a fun bumper car ride.

We then meet Mater at Easy Lane Hotel. He moves and talks. The kids, especially Michael loved it!!

We then tried Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree. We could have gone on this ride a few more times!! Love it!  The Cars ride was amazing too! The kids will all tell you it was their favorite ride!

On to The Little Mermaid! The girls were in love with this ride! Michael enjoyed all the fishes and sights.

None of the kids wanted to go on California Screamin’ with Adam and I so they went on the Carousel while we enjoyed screaming!

Mickey’s Fun Wheel is a huge ferris wheel with two different cars. Moving ones and non moving ones! Nik, Michael, Tori, Kalixta and I went on the non moving ones.

Michael is doing his happy dance! He loved looking down!

Adam, Britain, and Ariana went on the moving ones.

Zoe and Ammon didn’t want to go on it at all. The waved to us though!

Adam took the older kids on Grizzly River Run while Michael and Tori and I waited for them to splash down.

Adam, Nik, Zoe and Ammon loved it! Britain was unsure and Kalixta and Ari weren’t big fans:)

Golden Zephyr was great.

One of our favorite experiences was Turtle Talk with Crush. It is interactive. And amazing. They picked Ari and she talked with Crush. He gave her a turtle name of Aqua Ari. They then talked to Adam. It was fun and will be different each time we go.

The big kids went to Goofy’s Sky School with Adam while the little one went with me too the Bug’s Life area. Michael hadn’t been feeling well all day. He went to sleep but I still dragged him on a few rides! Poor boy!

He woke happy and enjoyed the bumper cars and the little spray park!

As we were headed out of the park we ran into Goofy.

Ariana knocked out as we left.

Sorry again for the picture over load! We had a great time and loved every minute of our Disney vacation!! A huge thank you to Adam’s parents!! We  love you!

Disneyland

We spent 2 amazing days and 1 night at Disneyland. We had a blast and did so many things! Made so many memories. Adam’s Mom and Dad gave us this spectacular gift. We were able to go with all Adam’s family! All 26 on us! Thank you thank you thank you!!

This is going to be totally picture overload…sorry:)!

Since it was Michael, Ari and Tori’s first time at Disneyland they got special pins!

Zoe got her own special pin since her 14th birthday is days away. People all over the park were telling her happy birthday!

We had to take all the first Disneyland pics before a few rides!

Tea cups were first of the day.  Michael loved the ride as did everyone else!

Dumbo was great too! Tori just about popped with excitement before, during and after each ride! She was a blast to be with!

Hanging with the cousins!

It’s a Small World was decorated for Christmas still it was beautiful. The kids loved all the sights. Michael and Tori were so fun pointing out all the sights!

We found a lot of monkeys.

Roger Rabbit was a lot of fun!

We ran into Pluto and all the kids got to meet him. No one was afraid or hesitant.

We also meet Mickey Mouse.

Taking the tram to lunch at the hotel.

We stayed at the Disney Hotel!! It was a very cool hotel. I wish we would have had more time to enjoy it, but Disneyland was calling:)

Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters ride was a family favorite! It was Michael’s all time favorite ride. He loved the space ship and shooting the gun!

We watched Captain EO in 3D and The Muppet Movie 3D. They were both awesome, although we did perfer The Muppet Movie.

I got a tons more pictures of our first day at Disneyland, but I will let these be enough. We learned that Kalixta does NOT like roller coasters as she braved Space Mountain and cried the whole time. Michael and Tori might be our biggest dare devils since they went on everything they were big enough too and loved them. Everyone including Ariana wanted to go on Splash Mountain but we ran out of time or energy. We went on a number of other rides and experienced lots!  The kids all had a blast, even the one who didn’t think he would.
