February’s Disneyland Trip

I know you are probably tired of our Disney pics but this is the best way I have to document it and remember! So sorry:)

Yesterday we ditched school, work and responsibility and ran to Disneyland!

Nik and Britain staying entertained on the way there!

We started in California Adventure this time!

Nik, Zoe and Ammon were super brave this time and they all went on California Screamin’. While they were screaming the rest of us went on the carousel.

We ran into Dug from Up.

Michael was very shy at first which I thought was weird because he wasn’t afraid of any of them last time, but it only took him a second before he was giving hugs and high fives!

Taking a short break on these cool chairs from Alice in Wonderland.

We split again so we could take advantage of the single rider line (it is way faster) for Radiator Springs. I took the kids on the Luigi’s Flying Tires. Ammon went with me since he hasn’t went on it yet. I made Ariana go with me too and she wasn’t happy. But she enjoyed the rides!

We loved Mater’s ride too!

Britain decided to go on Screamin’ so all the older kids went again. Adam and I  took the other kids on the Carousel again.

Zoe fed the kids lunch while Adam, Nik, Ammon and I went on Tower of Terror! Nik swears he will NEVER go on it again. Ammon loved it though!

We saw tons of characters and stopped to see Zoe’s favorite! Sully!

We got a great family photo too!

We headed over to Disneyland.

Tori, Michael, Ari and I went through Tarzan’s Tree House while everyone else went on Indiana Jones!

Tea cups!

Dumbo! We went on all of our favs!

Towards evening we ran into a lot of characters! I was a little sad sad it was dark and my phone didn’t take the best of pictures but it is still GREAT!

Goofy!

Mickey AND Minnie!

Pluto!

This is seriously the best thing ever! I love spending the day with my family!!

Crayons

Tori, Michael and I made crayons from all of our broken scrap crayons.

We took the paper off and broke up all the old crayons.

We cut them up small and Tori had a great time sorting and matching the colors and putting them in molds.

We put them in the oven and melted them and then let them get hard again.

The kids had a blast! They love coloring with their new crayons!

Sea Glass Collection

The last time we went to the beach we saw a number on people combing the beach for ? We didn’t know so of course Adam asks them. They were hunting for sea glass. That hooked him and Kalixta and they spent the rest of the time looking. The actually found a few pieces!

Adam took Kalixta and Britain out again today to look for some more!

They had a great time walking up and down the beach looking!

The found quite a few!

Beach Day

Days off are always fun but when Daddy has the day off it makes it even better! No school or work today so we headed to the beach!! Adam’s Mom and sister, Diane with her kids joined us!

Michael loved playing lifeguard!

It was a little windy and jackets were needed for a little while, but it was well worth the family time!

Someone always gets buried when we go to the beach!

My beautiful models!

Love life!

Valentine’s Day!

We had a wonderful day filled with Love!

It started with red heart pancakes!

And Valentines! Daddy got the girls chocolate and the soundtrack to Frozen!! Mommy gave the boys chocolate and hot cheetos!

And heart hair do’s!

Grandpa made us a Valentine’s cake!

Nik found a special Valentine!

There was lots of kisses!

And lots of Valentines!

Hope you day was full of LOVE!

Cuties

I did Tori’s hair Sunday morning and she went to show her Daddy. And begged him to take a picture! I can’t believe how fast they grow!!

Love my lovely girl!

As we were leaving Ari got into the photo action!

They can be such sweet sisters:)!

Baseball Season

Nik moved from football right into baseball. Because of his shoulder he mostly just did lower body work and watched but as soon as the Dr. cleared him he was playing! Right now he just practices and they have scrimmages and tournaments on Saturdays.

Saturday he had a game in TO and he took this camera I got from a friend! The team had a great time using it and got some great pics!

He is a total Beck with that tongue:)!

Love my boy!

Go CI!!

Happy Birthday to Me!!

My birthday was yesterday and I got spoiled all weekend!

The kids and Adam made me breakfast Saturday morning and then my parents brought pizza for dinner and spent the afternoon with us.

Zoe made me n Chocolate Nutella Cupcakes. They were amazing!

Sunday was just as great. After church Adam and the kids made me an amazing dinner!

Zoe and Adam made me a lemon cake that was delicious!

I love my kids! They are amazing kids and love me! They made me cards and got me thoughtful gifts!

Kalixta got all the presents together and made a “present train”!

Ammon made me the coolest origami star out of dollar bills. He made me a heart out of a 2 dollar bill too. He is so talented!

Zoe wrapped this gift and left it out to torture me!

In it was one of Adam’s shoes and his scriptures to make it heavy! It was actually a gift certificate to get a pedicure!! Yippee! She is so funny though!

It was a fabulous weekend and I enjoyed every minute of it!! Thanks to everyone who texted, called and made my birthday great!

Beach

I love living in So Cal and going to the beach on days off! Monday after Nik got passed by the Dr to play ball we headed out to the beach!

It was a little chilly and Tori didn’t like it when we first got there!

But the cold wind didn’t  stop Nik and Michael from getting all wet!

Tori warmed up soon enough and was out there playing in the sand and running from the water!

Nik convinced Zoe to go boogie boarding with him!

He got all the bigger kids in the water with him. They had a freezing blast!

Britain loves jumping off the edge of the sand cliff and posing!

It was a wonderful beautiful day and I am so grateful to spend it with my kids!

Kalixta & Britain Turn 10

I now have 5 kids in double digits, more than in singles! Kinda crazy how fast they grown.

We surprised them with tickets to see Frozen with their Daddy.

Saturday was so busy we decided to celebrate their birthday Sunday. For their dinner they wanted frog egg salad, chicken and broccoli.

Presents are always a fun time! They got some great and thoughtful gifts! Thank you everyone!

Zoe made the girls the cutest photo boards!

Kalixta picked a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting.

Britain wanted chocolate chocolate!

Happy happy birthday to my two silly, wonderful, smart, energetic, thoughtful, loving, fun, helpful and considerate girls!! Love you both!
