Nik failed the eye test at school so I got him set up to go see the eye Dr.

He is near sighted and needs glasses. He is pretty excited about getting them!

He had a great time trying on glasses. He liked a ton but narrowed them down to two. He likes these!

The Dr dilated Nik’s eyes. It was a weird experience for him. He was excited for the fancy sunglasses!

I take and post so many pictures of Easter. Coloring eggs, confetti eggs, new clothes and Easter baskets are all a big part of Easter and the joy I get out of it. But I can’t forget the real reason for all the celebration.

Christ!

How grateful I am for Him and my Heavenly Father for loving me enough to sacrifice so that I can be forgiven of my sins and live with Them again! I am so grateful I was raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and that I can now raise my family that way. This gospel bring great peace and happiness to my life as it give me purpose and direction!

I love my Savior and I know He lives!

We love love love confetti eggs!

Tori and Ariana still say “Can I tell you a secret?” so you will bend down and get an egg smashed on your head! Michael figured that out fast and did it too!

This kids was covered! He had so much fun it is hard to describe in words! He is so stubborn with pictures and I didn’t get a good one, but when he was drinking his juice he asked me to take a picture! Goofy kid!

The Easter Bunny’s work!

With Church at 9:00am Sunday mornings are crazy but add a bunny visit and it was a little funner! The kids got up in shifts. The middle and younger ones first!

Michael finally woke up and the kids were so excited to show him his basket! He just wanted to open the chips and eat them!

The older kids woke up last and got dressed before pictures!

Grandma Sylvia and Grandpa Buzz got the kids new Easter Clothes. Some didn’t fit so I didn’t get a family photo! I will try again next week.

Ariana and Tori loved their new dresses!

We had a delicious dinner of ham and eggs and black bean and corn salsa!

It was the perfect Easter!!

We had our big Easter party today! It was so fun being together with family! We had great food and lots of fun.

We had a huge egg hunt with over 300 eggs and 18 kids.

Nik, Zoe and Ammon chose to hid the eggs instead of hunt for them! Ammon had a great time running all over the yard helping Michael find eggs!

Searching!

Michael had so much fun! He screamed and laughed when he saw the yard and found his first few eggs!

He found a basket full! That smile says it all!

Tori loved the search and true to her personality wanted no help at all!

Ariana was so quick finding eggs.

Britain and Kalixta thought the hiding places were too easy but they sure enjoyed the candy in each egg!

Happy Easter!

I saved eggs for about 8 months last year! The space above my kitchen cupboards was full! They was about 100 dozen! Yep, crazy! My thought was to sell them since tons of people here do confetti eggs! I should have started earlier coloring them and filling them but we did it all this week.

Zoe has an obsession with color coordinating!

It was a LOT! But we sold a ton and still had 52 dozen to take with us to our Easter Celebration!

Not sure if I want to do it next year though! The girls did have a great time selling though!

Nik wasn’t here Monday when we colored eggs so we had to do it again! Nik went on a 3 day baseball tournament. Haha no we just have that many eggs to color for confetti eggs!

Adam saw this idea to color the eggs by rolling them in shaving cream and food coloring. It was a fun new way to color the eggs and the kids had a lot of fun with it. It would have been way easier with hard boiled eggs but it worked! It did lead to a long discussion about how and how many eggs most people color! It was kinda funny! My young kids had no idea that we were crazy!

The eggs had to sit to absorb the color better.

Then we wiped off the shaving cream. The eggs looked pretty cool and were sort of soft:)!

We colored eggs Monday for FHE after the missionaries left. It was fun but there was a LOT and we only did half!

Michael loved seeing the eggs change colors and worked hard with Adam to color tons!

I love love these silly girls!

My brother Jason was in town for a day with his wife, Jaime and little daughter! We went over for the afternoon to decorate cookies! My Dad makes the best cookies!

The cookies were delicious and decorated so well!

The kids always use my brothers as jungle gyms! Jason was no exception when he came!
He walked all the way down the stairs like this!!

Michael and Ammon got the Lincoln Logs out and Ammon built a “little” store with tractor parking!
