We missed him a ton but he had a great time and I was glad he could go!

After 2 weeks in Utah Nik flew back to CA and out to Sacramento where Uncle Jeff picked him up and he spent a week in Chico with him.

They went camping and exploring in the Redwoods.

They went out to San Francisco and Nik loved it there!

The enjoyed a Giants game after walking around the city all day.

Auntie Kylie colored his hair.

I like it!

So glad he is home!

We stayed most our nights with the Johnson Family! They were so awesome and willing to let us stay at their house! Our kids have so much fun together!

Words can’t describe how precious their friendship is to us! We love you guys. Thanks for everything!

We spent a few hours Monday visiting friends and then headed home! Our trip was amazing and way too short! It was great to see so many people, but we missed tons as well. Sorry to those we missed…we will be back next year!!

There was more sleeping on the way home since everyone was tired from our busy schedule!

We stayed Saturday night at a sweet friend’s house! They were so kind to feed us and let us crash there.

Their gorgeous newly built house provided lots of exploring for the kids! The best thing, there according to Michael, was these two little kittens! He followed those two everywhere and was always concerned about them. He went to bed talking about them and woke up wanting to see them!

The other kids liked them too!

Kalixta and Britain were great to help Michael with them and always helped him find them!

While we were at the park we celebrated a special little girl’s birthday! Ariana is seriously the sweetest girl ever! She can melt the heart of anyone! All she wanted was bbq chips and being with her family! She got exactly that!

The Platt Family brought her balloons! She was in heaven!

We had pizza and cake and ice cream.

Ariana is the best present opener! Everything she gets is the best ever!

Uncle Jordy gave her birthday spankings!

Yesterday we meet up with all the family to spend the day at the park! We had a great time playing at the park and running over to the Splash Pad! Yes another one! It was an awesome day!

Someone always has to put someone else in the water! This is just my family! Nik started it by drenching me! Then he tried to get the uncles and any aunts that were trying to stay dry. Soon Grandpa got into the action!

One of the biggest reasons we went to Utah was because it was the 4th of July! Our old neighborhood has a block party with tons of good food and awesome firework and a bunch of our friends! It ended up being well worth the trip to see everyone and catch up!

Happy 4th of July!!

We spent July 4th’s morning at the Springville Splash Pad. This place was so awesome!!

The kids had a blast with the Johnson kids running around!

Springville is known for it’s art and having statues around town. The splash pad was no exception.

After 3 long weeks I found my son! Nik drove in with Jeff and Kylie! I was excited to him!! He wrote the title, don’t know what it means but I missed my boy!!

So did a few others!!

We were really excited to see Jeff and Kylie too!

Jordan and Michelle came to hang out with us too! We sure love them!

It was a great start to a super fun day!

We visited with friends and family all evening on the day we got to Utah. We stayed the night in Spanish Fork with two friends. We stayed up late talking while the kids ran around outside playing night games!

After some more visiting, and a few errands I took the kids to the promised Provo Splash Pad to play! It did not disappoint! They had so much fun!

Marci and her family and Marie came to play too!
