We know it was yesterday but we hope you don’t mind that this is late.

Happy Birthday!

I just have to start with "I am sorry!" I am soooo lagging on getting my blogs done. I have so many ideas and then life happens. So I will be better!

With that said…

Ari turned six months on the fifth!  I know, I know already! She went to the doctor today and got a perfect bill of health. She now weighs 17 pounds, 3 ounces and is 26 and 1/2 inches long. She got FIVE shots. She didn’t cry for the first two but the third one was too many. She has a bit of a cold right now so she is stuffed up but she is still pretty happy.

A lot is happening with Ari’s life right now. Both her bottom teeth are almost in. She got a brand new high chair and LOVES to sit in it. She eats bananas, pears, apricots, potatoes, pretzels and graham crackers. She is quite an eater. Although she has decided she is too good for a bottle and doesn’t let her Mommy go anywhere without her.

Ariana is constantly rolling over, but she hasn’t figured out how to turn back over. So after one minute on her stomach she is crying to be turned onto her back.

She got lots of new toys for Christmas and enjoys playing with all of them. She plays with toys more than I remember the other kids playing ~ but if you know my memory, that is not saying much. Heehee!

Ari makes lots of cooing noises. She smiles and laughs very easily. She sucks on her tongue and fingers making this weird slurping, sucking noise which makes me laugh

Her biggest fan is still Ammon he is constantly in her face trying to make her laugh. After he is done Britain copies everything he just did. Nik and Zoë are Ariana’s biggest helpers. They love to hold her when Mommy is cooking or cleaning or when a little un-named girl is running through the house saying she has to go potty. (ahem Britt) Or when they are procrastinating doing their homework!!

So that’s Ariana’s life at six months… crazy, fun, and full of noise! She is still the best baby and I love her very much!

Whew! It’s been a long time since we’ve been here.

Sorry to all of our loved ones who have been checking our blog. We just got a little busy this holiday season.

With that, here is a video of us and our friends this past weekend. We had some old friends from Oxnard and some new ones from Utah over at our house on Saturday and had a great time. This is just a small piece of what we did.

We have so many bosom friends and we just keep adding more. Special thanks to the Browns, Palmers, Thunells, Masks and especially the Johnsons for giving us the best weekend ever!
