Ariana finally got her birthday present- a brand new CAR SEAT! Yes, she is quite excited. She has a whole new view that she finds thrilling! She has learned how to wave now. She is getting to be a big girl. It is sad really how babies have that first birthday and then they are no longer babies, they are toddlers. Well thank goodness she isn’t toddling yet, but she can go up stairs, crawl fast, stand up on furniture and get in to all kinds of stuff. That is enough to keep me busy! She’s a blast though and I wouldn’t want it any other way!!!
Here she is waving and enjoying her new view.

My mother-in-law taught me how to do this hair style and I LOVE it. I haven’t never done Britt or Kalixta’s hair so I decided to try. Once Zoe saw me doing it she wanted me to do hers. So here are the befores:
And the afters:
If I take pictures everyone has to be in one. I thought this one was sooo cute!! Oh, Britain’s hair isn’t curly because she went to sleep way early. So she’ll get her turn next week.
One last picture: Ari in her birthday dress from Grandma Mary. Most of her pictures she either has her month open or she is crawling to get the camera, but she is still super cute even with her crooked ponytails!!

Well, Zoe is now a second grader, as she will inform you, but as a first grader she gave this to me for Mother’s Day. I found it cleaning today and had a good laugh. Zoe had to fill in the end of some common sayings. This is what she had to say:
Good fences make people happy.
People who live in glass houses just cry because they get hurt.
A penny saved is a doll.
Good things come tomorrow.
There’s more than one way to do something.
Don’t put all you eggs in their box.
If you can’t stand the heat just go outside.
The grass is always wet.
Don’t count your chickens OK.
While the cat’s away the mice say yay!

We had such a great trip to CA, that even though we have been home a week I just had to share. Marie’s graduation was awesome. I am so lucky I was able to be there. She delivered her speech like pro!! I am so incredibly proud of you MARIE!!
It was so special to celebrate Father’s Day with all the special Dads in my life; Adam, my Dad, my Father-in-Law, and my Grandpa. I love you all!
Ariana tried to pick up a new trick, climbing stairs. The stairs at Grandma’s house looked so fun that every time I turned around that’s where she was. Maybe next time, Ari!

We took our Bear Den to Woolsey’s Dairy for a field trip today. I thought the kids wold like it so we took to them along too. Woolsey’s dairy is in Payson, about 15 minutes away. It is a dairy that sells it’s FRESH milk to the public. We, in fact, buy all our milk there. Yes, we drink milk straight from the cows and we love it!
The owner, Lars Woolsey, showed us around himself! There were lots of animals. Today we saw baby goats, Mama goats, baby cows, geese, a turkey, a rooster, and cows. We saw eggs laying under semi trailers. We saw where the cows and goats were milked, that sure brought back some memories! We saw where the milk bottles were cleaned and how the milk gets into the bottle. Ammon was afraid of all the animals so he stayed very close to me. Britain and Kalixta loved petting all the goats that came and said "Hi!" to them. Ari was even able to pet a cow and some goats.
