Nik played his first game last night!

I love watching him play!!

Nik was chosen by his team and then the coaches to be one of the team captains!

Game time!

Nik is number 8. He barely comes off the field. He even punts!

Nik got CI’s first points on the board with an interception that he ran back for a touchdown!!

Nik had a few catches throughout the night but mostly they ran the ball.

At the end of the game Nik had a 15 yard TD catch! The final score was CI 12 Nordoff 17. It was a rough game to watch Nik play so hard and come up short.

Max Preps reports Nik with 5 catches for 41 yards, 5 solo tackles and 5 assisted tackles, one interception for 48 yards and a TD. And one touch down!

He even made the papers!

Adam did the chains at the game tonight.

I am looking forward to a fun healthy football season!!

Ari had her yearly check up yesterday. They decided what I already knew…that she is prefect! She charmed the whole office with her sweet genuine personality!

I love these gowns!!

She had her finger pricked with no tears! And thankfully no shots!

A while ago Ammon knocked out one of her front teeth, two weeks ago at a pool party she knocked out the side front tooth. She has had that one tooth right in the middle hanging on! She played and played with it on they way to and in the Dr’s office. The Dr noticed so he asked if he could pull it out! He tried but decided it was still hanging on. Later on the way to soccer practice she yelled, “I did it!” She had pulled her own tooth out and was pretty proud!!

We made it down to Disneyland yesterday. It felt like it had been so long since we didn’t go in June and July. We had another great day! We tried something different this time. We drove down the night before and stayed in a hotel. It was nice to drive when all the kids were sleeping and then get up and just drive 5 minutes to Disneyland.

We started in Disneyland.

Adam’s amazing cousin actually works at Disneyland as a princess! We finally were there on a day she worked and got to see her! She did an amazing job of making the kids feel extra special. She even danced with them!

We also saw Snow White! I am not sure if she did it on purpose or not but I love that Ari is holding her hands like Snow White!

Kalixta, Ari and Tori played around Toon Town with me while everyone else, yes Michael, went on the Go Gadget’s Roller Coaster. It is now Michael’s favorite ride!! He had his hands up and was screaming Adam said!!

Some of the girls and I enjoyed watching Beauty and the Beast play while the others went to Splash Mountain!

We then headed over to California Adventure!

Most of us loved the Bug’s Life 3D movie! Michael and Tori were pretty scared!

Michael had some crazy ninja moves all day!

We had another great though hot day! We missed Nik a ton since he stayed home for football and school.

After the soccer games we went out to Ventura to work party for Adam. We had a great time eating yummy food and relaxing and meeting all of his friends!

The ribs were huge! Tori ate that whole thing too!

There was an amazing face painter! Michael wanted to be a ninja turtle!

Britain liked his idea!

She was awesome but she took sooooo long! After 2 hours in line we really had to go so I made Tori and Ari get quick ones! They are so sweet and didn’t mind at all!

The girls all had their first soccer scrimmages today. They got to dress in their full uniforms so it was awesome!
Britain and Kalixta are on the same team so they are both pink. Ariana just happens to be pink also and Tori is blue, she is a Blue Diamond!

Tori had the first game! It started great and then something happened on the field. I am not sure if she got kicked or if the other coach corrected her or if she just missed me but she stopped playing. She looked sad and walked slowly on the field!

She finally came off the field and started crying in my lap! I tried being loving and tried bribing but nothing worked. Adam finally said he was going to take her out of soccer and she snapped out of it and then played like a crazy girl! She even scored a goal! She is going to funny to watch this year!

Ariana had the next game! She did awesome! She is the smallest on the team but she is the quickest and she is everywhere! She will be fun to watch!!

Kalixta and Britain had a great first game!

They are 2 and 4.

They played hard and had a great time! Britain is really aggressive. She even played goalie and loved it!

Kalixta played great too! She doesn’t want to get in the goal at all!

We decided to sign the girls up for AYSO soccer.  Kalixta, Britain, Ariana and Tori are all playing!

They all had their first practices this week. We found the cleats, shin guards and socks!

They are all ready!

Tori was super excited but she did not like shin guards! This is her unhappy face!

She did do it and after practice she showed me the “scars” the shin guards left! They all had a great week and I can not wait to games to start!

Nik and Zoe started high school today!

Nik started as a junior at Channel Islands High School. He wasn’t feeling great so it was a rough day though he had a great day visiting friends! Classes and teachers just got into the way:).

Zoe is a freshman at Rio Mesa! She was excited and nervous to start in a new big school but she has her good friend Deanna going with her!
She had an okay day. She has a tough schedule with 3 honors classes.

With all the younger kids in school I had a great time taking Nik and Zoe school shopping! I love hanging out with my sweet teenagers! They found plenty to do at Target. Selfies on the sample phones!

Nik found a new look for Michael! Not sure what I think….

Nik finally got the cleats he wanted for football! He was pretty happy!!

Kids in school so lets go to the Dr! Yep poor Michael. That is pretty much what happened!

They asked him to undress and put this little gown on! Too cute!

The nurse gave him a glove to distract him from the finger prick and squeeze. He loved the glove until she held his finger!

But he did great. No tears! He just watched her do it and was amazed when that stick sucked the blood up!

He got two shots! One in each arm! Again he watched the whole process. He didn’t cry at all. He had a small whine and was over it! He liked his bandaids!

That kind of awesome behavior deserves lunch! Just the two of us had a fun lunch date!

The first day of school was excellent! Everyone had a great day!

Ammon is my big 7th grader and the only one in junior high school this year! He was glad to go back to school and see friends!

Kalixta, the fifth grader, is in the same classroom with the same teacher and she is so excited about that! She was totally looking forward to school starting!

Britain the other fifth grader is in the same class with the same teacher too. She wasn’t looking forward to school starting but now that is did she is happy!

Ariana the third grader is with the same teacher this year. She is so excited since Miss Cregor is the best teacher in the WORLD!! Ari loves her new shoes and the Frozen lunch box and backpack she chose!

Finally my sweet kindergarten girl, Tori! She has been waiting forever to start school and is soooo ready!!

Michael and I missed her a ton today but I love that she can go to school!

She loves her Princess Sofia backpack and lunch box and her new Frozen shirt and cool shoes!
She has Mrs King, who is great so I am really excited about that!

Tori could not have been happier with her first day! She made new friends, loves her teacher and had the best day ever!
