Nikolas is playing football again after over a week suspension from his parents. (He had to stop playing because he choose not to turn in quite a few math assignments!) He is happy to be out there! He used to play the whole game and do the kick offs, but he lost a few of those positions. He played defense the whole time but didn't do the kick offs today. That disappointed him a little, but he understands!

A Day in My Life
I remember when life wasn't so scheduled and hectic. I was busy with things, but now life just doesn't stop. I have to go here and here and here! Which is okay. I like to be busy. This was my schedule today.

Once There Was a Snowman
This is not wishful thinking for snow to come. I am really enjoying the weather right now! It was Britain’s choice for a song to sing tonight for our family night. It is another example of what a cute phase Ariana is in right now! Please excuse the singing! We are not a family of good singers, but we do like to sing!

Some People Say…
…that motherhood is a thankless job! I beg to differ…today! So far today has been one of those days when I really really love being a stay at home mom. (Cause I will be honest. I don't always feel like this!) Britain had a doctor appointment this morning so I am trying to get all the girls ready to go. I call Ari up from downstairs to get dressed. She comes running saying she is stinky! So I get the wipes and a diaper and change her. The whole time she is saying "Thank you Mom! Thank you Mom!" When she was dressed and stood up she gave me a huge hug and kiss and said "I Love YOU!" This is the first time she has said that without being prompted! I almost started crying! It was so sweet!

Boys’ Room
When Nikolas left for CA my goal was to paint Ammon's room so when Nik got home he could move downstairs with Ammon. Well I finally moved Nik downstairs with Ammon! It took me way too long and I am not finished yet, but they are sleeping downstairs and I can start getting a room ready for the baby! I changed my mind tons of times concerning the colors and design. The end result was not what I wanted, BUT I am happy with it and the boys love it! This is where is started.

Rainy Soccer Games!
It rained this afternoon, but no games were canceled! Ammon and Zoe were drenched when they were finished, but the had a blast! Adam volunteered to stay home with the kids so I was the only other one drenched! Thanks Babe! Zoe played forward and goalie. She almost had two goals and she saved one! Her team won 3-0. They played so good they were rewarded with a beautiful rainbow at the end of the game! The rainbow was complete and very bright (and very close! Ammon was mad we didn't go find the pot of gold!)

Kalixta’s 1st Day of School!
Hip Hip Hooray! Kalixta's first day of school was great! She paused half way up to side walk to wave bye to me! She loved the teacher, her friends, coloring and all the fun toys! She doesn't know anyone's name which made me laugh. This is Kalixta's favorite hairstyle! She says she is going to have her hair like this everyday!
My problem now is there are three more days until they get to go to school again!
Miss Kara always measures and weighs the kids at the beginning and end of the school year to see how they've grown. Kalixta is two pounds heavier and two inches taller than Britain.

Britain’s 1st Day of School
Britain started preschool today. Boy, was she excited! She has been counting down the days! We went and bought a backpack to take up some time in the morning since she started after lunch. She pick a Mickey Mouse bag. She was so excited she didn't eat anything! She barely stopped on the way to the car to take a picture for me!
I opened her door to get out of the car and she was gone! She didn't say bye, wouldn't stop for a picture nothing! It was cute. I am glad she is excited! I hope she always stays that way!
The best part was picking her up! All she wanted to do was talk to Kalixta! She just hadto tell Kalixta how much fun she is going to have tomorrow! (I put the girls in the same preschool, but different times and days. I think it will be torture for me, but great for Kalixta and Britain!) She told me everyone's names, first and last! She gave me minute by minute details about the whole two hours always adding at the end of an activity, "Kalixta is going to like that." It was sweet to see how much she thought about Kalixta! Hopefully, after that build up, Kalixta's day tomorrow will be just as great!

My Garden
My garden started out great and then turned to a little disappointing when I only harvested two zucchinis. When we were gone to CA bugs got to my zucchini plants and destroyed them. I was so bummed. I felt a little better when Kalixta and I picked tons of radishes!
It got even better when the girls and I picked red, green, and yellow bell peppers, carrots, and tomatoes!
Then today I went out and picked about 15 more tomatoes. Last year I had trouble with tomatoes so getting so many is really exciting. Although I do really miss all the zucchini!

Soccer Ammon
Ammon's soccer game Thursday was so fun to watch. He falls down all the time! He is not afraid to get in there and kick the ball. He is really tough when he plays. He got hit with the ball and didn't even flinch!
He played goalie at his game. He didn't get one ball kick to him the entire time. So he played with the net, talked with his friends, and played in the dirt! It was great! Here you can tell he is not even looking in the direction of the ball!
His team won 3-1, so to Ammon that is a great game! Zoe had a great game too. Her team won! Adam went to that one. It really is driving me crazy to have to split up. I hate not getting to watch everything!
