I Love To See the Temple

We all went down to the open house of the Draper Temple. Before a temple is dedicated anyone can go through. I thought it would be a wonderful experience to take the kids through to see the inside of the temple. Nik, Zoe, and Ammon already went through two other temples, but this was Ari, Britain and Kalixta's first time. It was wonderful! The temple is beautiful. The spirit sweet!

I think Ariana's favorite part was to bus ride to and from the temple. We rode on her "favorite bus" there. On the way back she kept saying "Go blue bus. Go blue bus!"  All through the temple she counted things 1,2,4,6,7,8,9,10.6.7.8.9.10… Zoe loved all the beautiful chandeliers. Britain and Kalixta loved everything about it. Ammon was hungry and Nik can't wait to do baptism there!

  1. What a great experience. I remember growing up, we went to the Chicago dedication. We took our kids to the Newport one here, but Travis was an itty bitty like Tori.
And I have to say I love to see the temple. I never took for granted driving by the temple EVERY SINGLE day in American Fork. It was so beautiful and I do miss that.
Now, I get to fight the 405 for 40 minutes at least to see my temple. But the silver lining, at least I don’t have to travel by bus for days, ya know?

Did you take that picture? If so, you are amazing! And if you didn’t, you are still amazing! 🙂 You guys always do such a great job talking with and preparing your kids for special experiences. I wish my kids would react like this to stuff instead of being grumpy. You guys are such a fabulous example. We love, love, love you!
